simmons for beal...do it.

The only guy I mortgage the future for.

Prime Embiid and Beal for next four years should be picks in the 25 range anyway and pick swaps should be irrelevant as well because Sixers will be the better team.

I reference this video a lot. Simmons vs the Nets 2019 playoffs without Embiid. He dominated. If you can go back and watch the whole game somehow, this is him at his peak. He was fantastic. Absolutely should've been traded after this at first opportunity to sell that team on what he's capable of as "the guy." That's unfortunately what his legacy here is shaping up to be - the guy we should've unloaded twice for superstars (Kawhi, Harden) but stood pat instead banking on the potential that never came.

Isn’t that right after the game where he put up zero points and the fans were on his ass? Just shows that he only cares to dominate when he’s mad.

So Ben will try extra special hard tonight because big brother Look at Me James is in the building.  Two ego maniacs....I wonder if they share the same mirror.

Oh is Joel ready to flop and play tonight?

Ben ain't doing ish.  Last time Lebron would stand at the free throw line when Ben was outside the 3 point line when guarding him.  Joel might score 40 but we are losing this one by double digits.

Except one just scored 46 with 73 FG% and will go down with a legitimate argument as the GOAT when he wins one more ring this year. The other bought a video game team this summer.

it's always fun to watch bron not bother to guard ben outside of 5 feet from the basket.

Nah James will make an ass out of him again playing 20ft off of him.

Unless you are going back in Doc Browns time machine and erasing Michael Jordan being born, no he won't.

Funny 76ers tie in. Dave Joerger's brother was here this morning to get my DirecTV installed in my new apartment.

lol nah. He saw my autographed Curry jersey and I mentioned my buddy and I getting floor seats at Memphis because tickets were decently priced for such a thing, and he asked what year because his brother was the head coach

People don't and will never appreciate the greatness that is LeBron because they think he is a C. He will probably pick up a 5th ring this year and playing with Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes vs Duncan and Tony Parker you won't win many.

Not the thread for this, but for anyone to say he doesn't is an MJ homer. I grew up watching Michael as well

The numbers speak for themselves

You must have been 5 years old or so when you watched Jordan then.  Forget the numbers, the eye test does it.  They aren't even close.  But yes, don't want to start this debate for the 100th time.

meh... theres numners and then theres skill.

Some players dominate based on physical characteristis (Shaq, LeBron, and to a lesser extent, Simmons), others are actually really, really good at all of the skills of the sport. Thats MJ.

MJ will always be the best because he played basketball the best. He wasnt just good because he was bigger than everyone. Thats LeBron's advantage.

MJ was that dominant because he was that good. LeBron is this dominant because he is that much bigger and athletic than his opponents. Of course he is skilled too, minus the ugly jumper and disappointing FT% for an all time scorer.... but hes not in the same ballpark skillwise to an MJ or even Kobe.

I want Beal badly but I am not giving all that up.  Maybe get a 3rd team involved.  We can use Ben, Matisse, Furkan or Green, 2 1sts as our trade package.
