Simmons had a pretty good night. They get the ishy Pistons again so hopefully they blow them out the second time.

Wonder what's the status of Blake Griffin and D Rose this time.

We were lucky Detroit was short handed the other night.

1st place in the East and the state of this thread sucks.  You people need to chill the F out and just watch some ball.

You lack knowledge

anybody else just skip over any post that's more than 3-4 sentences long?

I'm a top, middle, bottom kind of reader.  My limit is 1 paragraph.

Good content, but I couldn't watch it all.  The guy in the video is a complete tool bag.  Knows his stuff, but his delivery is hard to listen to.

yeah, i had to grit my teeth through the video as well.  but it's the first i've seen where someone broke down how doc's using our players on offense and defense.  i watched all his breakdowns (not fun) and every one he pointed out how we're susceptible to screens because of our defensive alignment and where we place the center.  the positive?  we're getting better at switching man / hedging.  but knowing how teams are exploiting it to hit threes on us (detroit hit 14 this past sat)...  playing teams with good perimeter shooters could be a concern.

hopefully to no one's surprise:

edit:

hopefully it's just precautionary that they're listing him as questionable...  maybe cause of soreness and not something more serious.  i think i remember the patriots always putting brady on the injury report even though it wasn't serious and he ended up playing.

Sixers should be all over making a trade for Rubio. Like kork, danny green, and 2nd for rubio

jojo has that back thing that can flare up at any time...so expect him to be listed as questionable more often than not.

I would like to know how big Joel actually is. He is listed at 7 foot 280lbs, but I bet he is closer to 7'2" 300lb.

We  can't comprehend that size and I bet he gets soreness a lot from being that damn big.

Doesn't help he looks like a baby deer on ice half the time always tripping over his feet or falling all the time. Never seen a dude on the floor more playing basketball than him.

i heard him say that he was taught to fall down like that to avoid injury...or some sheet like that.

Quote

At the team’s practice facility in Camden, New Jersey, just seconds before he vanishes from sight to take a post-workout shower, Embiid smiles when asked about his frequent falls. "It was something I learned during my rehab when I was going through the foot injury, when I was trying to find ways to limit the impact on my body in 2014,” he says. "I was told that every time I feel like I’m in a situation where it’s going to be some type of extreme [weight] on my leg, I’ve got to dive or just roll onto the floor. So that’s why I do it.”

"I know there are fans that are always thinking, ‘No!’ each time I fall, but that’s why I do it,” Embiid says with a brief grin before heading for the showers. "The specialists for my foot told me to do it.

Yeah that's old news - if you watch when he falls you can tell he's doing it on purpose most of the time.

I dont really think so...why do we need another bench PG when Shake and Maxey are both capable? And why one that cant shoot?

yeah...the scary thing is that he has had a stress fracture in his back, in the past.

I dont love the idea of him playing with back pain. The alternative is missing a few weeks... either scenario isnt good.

Rubio makes other players better. Simple as that. Veteran leadership.
