The excuse will be that Embiid is hurt worse than we know, and hell, he might be. But the greats who play through the pain find a way to be productive, not just go through the motions so that they claim that they didn’t quit.

Got high and forgot the game was on so missed the first quarter, but they need to send four guys for every offense rebound. It is a clear advantage they have in the boards.

His record of self destruction in the playoffs after winning that championship in 2008 is mind boggling.  It's a given every year that he gets his team to a series lead and then metaphorically blows out his diaper.

The game that makes really no sense why embiid was awful was game four when they had a weekend off. This is more understandable as it’s one day in between with travel. Still sad he has played this awful. Maybe he’s saving his energy for the 4th quarter so he can dominate then compared to first half. Doubtful tho 

Embiid might have figured he needs to save his energy for the 2nd half. Or 4th quarter.

 

Simmons just made some of the most frantic dribbles I have ever seen on that fast break. With his head down. Ran back away from the basket and hot potato'd it back to Curry for the 3. Now his backers will have that included in the stat how he sets up the most 3 point assists in the NBA. Its a real beauty to watch.

If he could just be a solid defender it would be awesome. Offensively he’s become a legit starter.

he was and still is better. And I know he only ever looked good in his rookie year. Its not saying much, but still saying hes better than Simmons as a PG.
