🤔

Although I wouldn't give up Maxey

thats an easy NO from the 6ers. If its a 2 player for 2 player deal and you are for some reason trading Maxey for Brogdon or Grant, then you are only trading Simmons straight up for Brogdon, or Grant. Thats horrible. No picks coming our way. Bad. Inclusion of Maxey, non-starter.

I don't consider two guys that are a tier below All Star caliber players to be a horrible trade even if Maxey is included. I think they desperately need a lead guard, even a vet like Rubio or Tyus Jones to run the show at times. Not having one is going to hurt this team and has since TJ left.

Not sure why the Pistons do it if keeping Killian Hayes though

They do need a lead guard. And even if we decide to take some lumps letting Maxey grow in to the role, which Im ok with, we still need a good (not Neto) vet PG on the bench.

Amazingly, when asked about the PG position, specifically lack of any on the roster, Morey said hes happy with the guys we have.

To your other point, I would accept 2 guys a tier below all star for Ben. If Maxey was not included.

That deal is straight 🗑 🚮

Also I think Maxey can be a lead guard.  I know it's not ideal to have a 2nd year guy be your lead guard on this team but I like the kid.  We would need somebody else besides shake to help off the bench.

Giving up Ben and Maxey for two sub all-star players and no picks would be an immediate hang up from me.

He has never been a PG anywhere in his life. He is more Colin Sexton then anything and they should let him play that way.

Dude that deal is straight booty cheeks.  You take Maxey completely out of it and sure if that's the best thing on the table.

So does Ben suck or not?

Either Ben sucks and can't get anything for him or he is still uber talented and want the world for him.

And let's stop on this Maxey love affair, let him prove himself before crowning him. Right now I see the Sixers trying to fit a square peg in a round hole by making him a lead guard when he isn't.

No need to take that deal now. Let Maxey grow into the role and see how he's progressing. Unless someone blows us away with a good deal, best to wait to trade Ben, we will get more.

It's not either or. Ben is a high level, talented player with several limitations who is not tradeable for proper consideration at the moment.

So then he stinks and Sixer fans will **** because they did not get the value they want for him.

first preseason game is today...no jojo...and it's not on nbc sports philly, so.........

Im not so upset that its not televised since no Joel.

The first time that we have a full squad, the first glimpse of the team without Ben better be on TV, pre-season or not.

I thought the video made him look bad. That still shows what a freaking wimp he really is. That looks like a dad passing the ball because his 6-year-old son was guarding him.

My god. That gets more embarrassing every time I look at it. He'd rather give up a sure two points with a chance for 3 if he's fouled than to risk being embarrassed about missing another free throw.

The four people in the background are all like....what the F do we pay this guy?

If we can get that kind of production from Drummond in that amount of minutes, consistently thats going to be a heck of a boost to the team. In addition to those 3 stat categories, he also had 4 blocks. And made 7 out of 8 FTs.

Looks like An average game from Ben. Good to see he’s in mid season form with 0 shots taken
