Meh.  You park Ben in the dunkers spot.  He won't be paired up with a ball dominant center.  Hell he'd probably play the Draymond role there.  Kyrie and KD can hit from anywhere on the court and breakdown defenders getting Ben easy buckets.  Thybulle will corner camp.

NO!!!   F Harden.  No.  I’d rather a few younger,  in shape guys to build with.  When Embiid’s game starts to diminish so will fat Harden. (It already did actually).  They are a Terrible fit.

Harden and Embiid a terrible fit?  That is the first I have heard that.  The pick n roll game, the spacing, another guy who can take the last second shot and over 10 assists a game.  Maxey will be even better.  You take a risk after all this processing.  This is the time.

The process was over years ago. But even if this were the end phase, it was never about taking a risk. It was the opposite. It was optionality and always having a way to pivot out and continue churning till you got the right mix. 

There is no way you can use "processing" to rationalize risk. They are diametrically opposed.

Oh yeah, and between Embiid and Harden, they would get so many players in foul trouble and we would be shooting a lot of free throws.

My concern is the offense on nights that refs swallow their whistles but This would be a great return for Simmons after what he’s done to kill his value.

Then you should pay more attention.  Yes.  A terrible fit.  A selfish ball hog guard playing with Embiid?   Not a good fit at all.  Not to mention the personalities.  
 

Last year when it was all discussed before he was traded to Brooklyn, I argued the same thing.  
 

Everyone said Harden and Durant were a great fit.  Now here we are.  

Morey is getting played.  It’s so obvious.  The Nets are in competition with the Sixers.  Why wouldn’t they string this along until the deadline passes?  It fools Morey and keeps the Sixers from making a logical move to improve their team.
