If the choice is between a declining Harden and Simmons then it’s a no-brainer though.

I can't scroll through everything, on a work call, can anyone just update last rumor(s)....gracias.....

Then you should pay more attention.  Yes.  A terrible fit.  A selfish ball hog guard playing with Embiid?   Not a good fit at all.  Not to mention the personalities.

Last year when it was all discussed before he was traded to Brooklyn, I argued the same thing.

Everyone said Harden and Durant were a great fit.  Now here we are.

We will see if a trade happens.  I know you hate the guy, but he is a top 10-15 player in the nba.  Even if he isn't the Harden from 2 years ago, with the way Maxey is starting to play and the way Embiid is playing, assuming we keep Matisse, Niang and Drummond, I think we have a good shot at making it to the finals.  It will all come down to his hamstring.  He started off slow this year because of coming back from surgery and I think he will get better towards the end of the season.

Simmons will either be traded for Harden or he won’t. That’s about the gist of it.

Well,  the choice wasn't between those 2. But that's all we are left with after Morey screwed every other opportunity up.

The asset is/was better used elsewhere.  Until Morey and the Sixers dragged this out to allow that asset to devalue itself.

His back is all messed up.  He wouldn’t even last a day working with @Bwestbrook36 right now.

I'm not sure what this is implying but, I'll give it a " lol"

If the Harden trade does not happen by the deadline, I agree with you.

I’m not sure either it was just the first stupid thing that popped into my head.

Just thinking about McCollum for Josh Hart and a pick.

I wonder if we couldn't have done that for Korkmaz, or Joe, or even Thybulle if we had to.

Then you still have Simmons and Harris to deal with McCollum already added.

Instead,  watch us get Schroder. Which will be a worse trade than McCollum, by far.

Retail work is not easily done with a bad back!

If it does happen, he wasted the asset because the Harden deal is not the best option for the Sixers.

Again, I think he’s getting played.  I bet Simmons is a still a sixer come Friday morning.

He did change the way he played when he went to the Nets and became a facilitator.

CJ is a 30 million dollar cap hit

I just don't see how they sell Durant on trading his only legit help for a championship for a useless playoff player and some more bench players.

People need to stop saying he has Irving. What good is he if he only plays away games? He's the exact reason why Harden is pissed at being there in the first place. So they are gonna trade Harden and leave Durant stuck with that numb nuts? Not happening.

The most Philly thing to.happen is Irving gets vaccinated and then Ben plays lights out and stick him on Harden in the playoffs and gets shut down lol.

Oh I see.  So our salaries don't match.

KD loves to ball and don't think he cares as much as you think.

Simmons going to the Nets is the best case scenario for Ben and his camp. A small ball five with KD and Irving is going to be tough to beat.

We are already states and cities changing vaccination mandates and bet Kyrie will end up being clear to play in home games soon.

Harden definitely seems to have lost a step but people are forgetting how good he is.  He also started off the year coming back from surgery, had to re-adjust to the rule changes (that he use to take advantage of), and is dealing with spacing issues.  He would look a lot better on our team.

Based on every podcast ive listened to form national reporters they are saying that mandate is going to be lifted at some point or the nets owners in the playoffs would pay the fine. Additionally i think the nets are going to play it out this season cause i think they expect the sixers to do a sign and trade for harden this offseason and that’s still in their back pocket if they don’t win and harden wants out.

beal out...dame hurt...harden fat.

looks promising.

I believe he will help take pressure off embiid.

But I don't believe Morey should have become obsessed with this as the only plan he wanted to carry out.

Exactly and if Irving is able to come back full.time that is all the more reason they need to run it back. Why eff it all up now? As some of you like to say Durant was a few inches from going to the finals last year with the guys they have now. Why blow it up for jack ass Simmons.... Nets would have to be the dumbest team ever to do that.
