Simmons is gone. Mitchell may be an option.

Beal or Mitchell over Harden.

Trade Tobias, Thybulle, picks for Julius Randle.

A perfect big fit next to Embiid, with an actual dynamic back court player still in his prime. THEN we will be a championship contender.

Spider is very self centered. Hard pass.

So is harden.  So was butler. So are most stars that we would want to pair with Embiid.

Tobias and picks should be enough

May be an image of 2 people, beard and text that says '@a2dradio rypto crypto.com com Sixcrs "AT SOME POINT, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO HOLD UP YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN AND NOT JUST DEPEND ON THE OTHER THAT YOU'RE PAIRING UP WITH. DON'T PUT PRESSURE ON EMBIID, BE AN ASSET TO HIM. NOT A LIABILITY. RIGHT NOW, THAT'S WHAT JAMES HARDEN IS SINCE He HAS ARRIVED WITH THE PHILADELPHIA 76ERS." KENDRICK PERKINS ON JAMES HARDEN'

Aww.  Be nice.  He’s hurt.

James is to blame for his crappy play, no excuses. I would like to see how he looks with the last 4 games off and the 6 day break before the playoffs start. That probably still won’t be enough time to allow him to heal but it’s our best chance at this point. He isn’t Houston Harden, that’s obvious but he isn’t this bad either, I don’t think.

Even if that’s the case, why should it make us feel any better that a 32 year old with a ton of tread on the tires has now dealt with hamstring injuries two years in a row? Whether he’s lost a step or it’s due to injury, either way it’s a sign that his body isn’t holding up at his age anymore.

If you re-sign him, you do the opposite of what Nash did to him. Give him the Buttler treatment and let him play 50 games during the regular season. Save him for the big games and the playoffs.

I still say you try to get Beal, let Harden go, and look to move Harris

Hasn’t Beal stated, repeatedly, in no uncertain terms, that he won’t come to Philly?

Not according to Andrew bogut.. he is trying to get to Philly this summer

He isn't the only option.  You mentioned one yesterday.

I'm not sure I'd let him go they might be able to get something for him. Morey will be the problem. I can't see him letting him go after all this. Pride, friendship, and his rep are on the line.

I remember him for several years saying he wanted to stay in Washington but that seems to have changed. Who knows, maybe our former PG was the reason he didn’t want to come to Philly, if that was ever the case.

I could have sworn that he said he’d never play for Philly because the fans treated his wife poorly, but I could be wrong.

I remember it too. The wife thing was Russell Wilson/Ciara. But I also remember Beal not liking Philly for some reason.

However, more recently like maybe February of this year, Andrew Bogut on a podcast said Beal is trying to get to Philly this summer. And, prior to that there was a report that Embiid was pushing Morey to trade for Beal, and preferred him over Harden (ultimately only Harden was available, Beal had season ending surgery).

Beal and Embiid are acquainted well through working out with Hanlen in the offseason. There is a relationship there. Its possible Beal has had a change of heart. It was very interesting to hear Bogut specifically say Philly. Not just that Beal was trying to get out of Washington, and had a list of teams that includes Philly. He literally said Beal is trying to get to Philly. Specifically.

We gonna lose to the Cavs…

Why is it teams seem to shoot the lights out from 3 against us?

We needed all of Thybulle's 4 points to pull it off.

Embeast

With that win, playoffs are clinched.

I don't think Make A Wish could make this happen

They’re all but guaranteed either the 2/3/4 seed with Miami winning and the Raptors losing tonight. At this point, I rest Harden and Embiid on Tuesday against the Pacers, play them against Toronto, rest them against the Pacers, and play them to end the season against Detroit.

Would like to be the 2 seed and face the cavs/atlanta winner (assuming they face each other in the play in game for the 7 seed). Or be the 3 and get Chicago as the 6 (assuming seeding holds up). Would like to avoid the raptors in round one.

You forgot the most important thing.....shoot Jordan by the shed so Doc has no other option and has to play Bassey.

I would actually like to face a tough schedule in playoffs to test doc, and Harden.

It needs to be clear this team is working,  or not,  heading in to summer.

An embarrassing 1st round exit could be what's needed.  But if they are as good as we hoped they'll succeed.
