I think things would go just fine here with Randle and Embiid, Maxey, and whatever you can get for Harden.

They won't move Harden though, at least I don't think they would.

Trade for Randle spacing dissappears. One of the guys would have to stand at the 3 point line and play my turn, your turn style basketball.

Harris has an absolute miserable of a contract and he is nothing more than a 4th guy on a title team.

Randle can provide just as much spacing as Harris.

Randle is a career 33% 3P shooter vs 36% for Harris, a below average defender, is best with iso ball facing the basket on the left side.

Biggest red flag is his best year, last year, is when he was due for a contract extension.

He was the king of NYC last year and now he is flicking off the fans at Madison Square Garden. I'm sure he can't handle the mentality for Philly.

I would look at a lead guard that can take some of the responsibility from Harden and make a play at Tyus Jones. Not sure can afford him but he is a winning basketball player, 4/1 assist to TO ratio, excellent at getting to the paint with one of the best floaters in the league, and career 35% 3P shooter.

Morey needs to find pieces that fit Embiid, but unfortunately he is a star chaser. I'm in the camp that Embiid can carry a team to a title if have shooters around him and a coach that knows what he is doing.

would love Jones.

Paul Reed looking good. The young guys running the second unit with all that speed and energy.

I think the move that’s going to be made is dealing Harris to help build up depth and put pieces that fit around embiid and harden better. i like tobias the person, but he disappears to frequently against better opponents and in playoff games. If he ever became a consistent 3rd option in those games it would greatly benefit the sixers. They could focus on just trying to acquire a wing 3D starter (very tough to find) as green is close to done (although tip of my cap to him the last to games he’s started he’s been very affective) and thybulle still can’t shoot consistently. Then revamp the bench with adding 2 guys to go with niang and thybulle.

this offseason is critical cause i think next year is likely their best chance to try and win a title. Embiid and harden (him especially) you don’t know what you are gonna get after 2022-23. They need a great offseason not like 2019 where brand and company completely botched it

Danny Green needs to start and Thybulle off the bench, regardless of whether we play Toronto or not.

Joel should still win MVP

Harden needed rest. So Doc plays him the entire 1st and he ends up playing 39 minutes. This is anti-load management.

I think Ja may get some minutes for the Grizzlies tomorrow vs the Celtics. I will bet Tatum and Brown play for the Celtics to win and avoid the 4th seed to play the Raports in the 1st round.

Sixers play the Pistons who should play guys off the street.

What is fair value for Tobias at this stage in his career?

tbh not sure. His contract at the moment sucks (really this offseason it’s not great) and someone has to really think he can be a 3rd option on a championship team which i don’t know how someone talks himself into that. But then again i didn’t think a team would be dumb enough to trade for westbrook and give up what they did either (not saying that package was outstanding but i wouldn’t have touched Westbrook with his contract and game at this stage)

His contract becomes more palatable for a team at the trade deadline as it becomes a couple months until it’s an expiring contract. Think the biggest question is who is going to be in that market for him. i guess maybe a team like atlanta who likely misses the playoffs and maybe believes Harris can be a good leader in that locker room. I would say based off contract there’s a better chance he’d be moved at the trade deadline or 2023 offseason but i think morey makes the move this offseason if the sixers flop

I think a trade like this is the only way.  No idea if players work but find a disgrunted star and try to get involved in a 3 team.

Missed the game but looking at the box score it looks like Reed finally got a shot and seems to have been relatively productive. Now if Doc would take his veteran blinders off and actually try Reed or Bassey in the playoffs.

Not bad cause it gives you a undersized stretch 4 who’s a good fit along side embiid, bench scorer/6th man which we desperately need. I’m guessing doug would start at small forward. Similar to bogdanovic and ingles combo with the jazz. Not sure they make a move to trade thybulle without somehow getting another wing defender back.

really unrealistic but was having fun on the trade machine

Reed had spark and energy the whole time.  He just needs to figure out a way to not foul as much.  His hands were active and he was deflecting a lot of passes on defense.  He was good on offense and did what he was suppose to.

If only he had more game time to figure this fouling thing out.

I’m hoping Reed plays in the playoffs. He’s a far better option than Jordan or Millsap

LeBron missed a win and youre in game for an ankle sprain

KOBE PLAYED 47.37 MINUTES & LEFT THE KINGS ARENA ON CRUTCHES BATTLING AN ANKLE SPRAIN AND BONE SPURS. BRYANT AVERAGED 45 MINUTES IN THE NEXT 6 GAMES, WINNING 5/6 AND TEARING HIS ACHILLES BUT SECURING THE LAKERS A PLAYOFF SPOT." SOURCE: ESPN'

So I guess for those who want the easiest path, need a win today and a Celtics loss to secure the third seed and play Chicago rd 1. Personally, I want the Raptors.  I don’t want Doc coasting by a cupcake first round opponent just to lose in round 2. Beat the raptors first round, then see what happens from there. If they lose round 1, then Chances of Doc being fired are higher.

No Embiid, No Harden tonight.

I think that dropping this head-case, cold, into the intense cauldron of the playoffs is a great idea. They should definitely do this.
