I agree with this.

Our presidential candidates are 74 and 77. Our Senate Majority Leader is 78. Our House Speaker is 80. The average age of our Senate is 62. The average age of our House is 57. ...And the average age of every living American is 37. We can’t pretend this isn’t part of the problem.

I actually was watching end game last night. i laughed cause 2023 old captain America looks like joe Biden only a couple years older.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Not the smartest podcaster, but I enjoyed listening to him over the years.

It doesn't say what he's moving on to.  I wonder if he did something wrong and Spike allowed him to bow out gracefully.

The chemistry was bad. He dumbed things down and got into discussions with ESP you could tell were manufactured. Splitting with BLG was detrimental to both.

I am convinced ESP was forced on him and Seltzer because he joined GoBirds the same weak he was hired at WIP.  And of course everything went downhill from there because ESP is a massive tool and tried to bring his hot take mentality and make everything about himself.

Barchard and Seltzer alone were fine.

Honestly I think there should be age requirements on voting, 21 the start

65 your done voting, it's not your future anymore.

As a 64 year old who the majority of the people I descend from lived well into the late eighties and nineties, 65 seems a little early to say we don’t have a future.  I think 18 is right on the other spectrum.

Idk i follow him on Instagram and more and more he’s posting videos with his gf and her kids. Them doing family oriented stuff and more enjoying that aspect of life. Doing stuff non-related to eagles or football. Kind of feels like a career shift based on what he valued as important. Couldn’t be entirely wrong but before in the past on Instagram it was all about the podcast and eagles related.

Ridiculous.

Foolish.

Without the work done by Ben Franklin during the Revolution, there likely is no United States of America.  He was 70 years old in 1776.

Racism - bad.  Agism - good.

George Orwell might just be a prophet.

Im not saying that a politician at the age of 70 isnt capable just that it seems we and other countries throughout history seem to be governed by grandpas and grandmas, why?

Doesnt have to be that way, plenty of younger people who are capable with fresh new ideas.

Maybe people like familiarity and fear change?

We should not be restricting people from voting, we should be encouraging everyone to vote. We should push to make Election Day a paid holiday or allow it to take place over multiple days.

Newton is no longer a 'transcendent' talent.   Sherman is living in the past.

I think there's a question as to what Newton will be.  His last 2 season have been derailed by injuries.  I do think it's possible he comes back and plays very well for the Patriots.  The big question to me is whether his arm strength is back to near to what it was before his shoulder injury.  I don't think his ankle is going to prevent him from returning to his prior form.

In a normal year, I think he would have signed a much bigger deal.  My guess is that he wanted a shorter one year deal.

Dont kid yourself, these 80 year old leaders have lost touch with the youth in this country .

I say this as a 54 year old, with 3 kids under 21.

21 you start ,65 your done.

Honestly I think voting rights should be means tested , the vast majority have no clue what a candidate stands for , and the majority couldnt name their state senators.

I have always thought election days should be holidays but I also believe one day for elections is archaic.  This isn’t the 1780s.

Vote by mail, no reason we should be standing in lines for hours ,in all kinds of weather.

You did suggest it with your proposed law.    I don't want to get into this, but maybe the answer is term limits rather than agism.

I've never had to stand in line to vote once in my life.  I go to work, I come home, and head to the polls, and the only person I have to wait behind is my wife.  There's only two voting machines in my polling place, and have never had a longer wait than the time it takes to tell them who I am and sign the book.

I wish our society was smart enough where we could remove party affiliations all together.

Two person repetitive argument. Summarize, outside gatherings with no mask and no social distancing a bad idea, inside gatherings with no mask and no social distancing worse. Either with chanting, shouting or singing probably even worse.  Both agree on mask wearing.  Both disagree on politics.

LOL the progressives on here "Nobody showed up to Trump's rally". Also progressives on here "those sporadic gatherings are going to kill us all" Pick a side.

Also progressives on here "Don't blame thousands of protesters in cities all around the country who have been gathering daily for weeks cause they are all wearing masks". BS for starters. They aren't all N95 when they do. But then we'll follow that by saying "indoor gatherings are worse" to deflect.

We'll also throw in some BS about the CDC saying they aren't to blame @Utebird

Protests could spur coronavirus outbreaks, and protesters should get tested, the CDC chief says

hmm..what was that you were saying about the CDC saying they aren't to blame? Even CNN says spin the wheel again.

Bottom line for the hypocrites on here...stop complaining about Trump's rallies, or people shopping without a mask until you likewise condemn the protests. Be consistent.

I've stood for hours in the rain, quite a few times when I lived in philly, and again in Westchester.

Here in Maryland, in and out in 30 mins , but the town population is under 2,000

People from India, some of which are a lot worse off than the poorest people in this country, are able to stand in line and vote. You all have no excuse except for wanting voter fraud to happen.

I agree with this part. It’s amazing. I want to say jay Leno years ago did interviews with people off the street. He would say something the opposing candidate said but tell the people it was Said by the candidate of the party they side with. Every person would agree until they informed them of who actually said it.

i know people who go to vote in Arizona have no clue on what the props Entail and what local representatives stand for.

It may not be a problem for you, but it is for a lot of the country.

Minorities and low income districts also have longer wait times.

There’s no question ESP was forced on them. Spike offered Barchard and Seltzer a chance to have full time radio jobs but they had to leave Gowton behind at BGN. I’m sure Spike Eskin sees ESP has a hot take artist who draws in the lowest common denominator.

Term limits would be nice for judges as well instead of lifetime appointments.

I’m wondering where spike eskin goes to replace barchard. Most of the reporters seem to make fun of ESP or can’t stand him. I think Bowen and ESP would be funny from purely a cranky old man against new age hot take artist. Feel bad for seltzer but at least he has the high hopes podcast. That’s actually pretty good with fritz

Definitely needs to be a limit on the Supreme Court. It benefits you to put someone young in office. No reason why someone appointed in 2010-2020 should have a say in the government in the year 2050.

Enough with voter fraud, it's not a big issue, unless you listen to trump. Who by the way has voted by mail 11 times over last 10 years.

His not wanting is is based on it favoring democratic turnout.
