Enough with voter fraud, it's not a big issue, unless you listen to trump. Who by the way has voted by mail 11 times over last 10 years.

His not wanting is is based on it favoring democratic turnout.

I don’t think people understand how hard it is to get away with voter fraud, and it’s a crime that is so high risk for such a low reward. So much misinformation that gets shared and people eat it up.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I’m wondering where spike eskin goes to replace barchard. Most of the reporters seem to make fun of ESP or can’t stand him. I think Bowen and ESP would be funny from purely a cranky old man against new age hot take artist. Feel bad for seltzer but at least he has the high hopes podcast. That’s actually pretty good with fritz

They will probably put Joe Giglio on there to make it more of a joke

LOL the progressives on here "Nobody showed up to Trump's rally". Also progressives on here "those sporadic gatherings are going to kill us all" Pick a side.

Also progressives on here "Don't blame thousands of protesters in cities all around the country who have been gathering daily for weeks cause they are all wearing masks". BS for starters. They aren't all N95 when they do. But then we'll follow that by saying "indoor gatherings are worse" to deflect.

We'll also throw in some BS about the CDC saying they aren't to blame @Utebird

hmm..what was that you were saying about the CDC saying they aren't to blame? Even CNN says spin the wheel again.

Bottom line for the hypocrites on here...stop complaining about Trump's rallies, or people shopping without a mask until you likewise condemn the protests. Be consistent.

The quote you made from the CDC was before the research came out showing protests werent the leading cause of increased covid cases.

That you keep making this a political issue is asanine.

That you would quote CNN whom ypu believe is fake news is hypocritical.

That you keep using covid to attack progressives or any political thought that doesnt support your thinking shows your true motives which are political.

I dont wear a mask because im progressive i wear a mask because it decreases my chances of contracting or spreading covid.

Research suggests its spread more rapidly indoors than out doors which is why a group of people packex inside a stadium are at more risk then a bunch of people packed together outside, especilly if the people inside arent masked and the people outside.

Whether theyre marching for equality or cheering for inequality doesnt increase or decrease covid spread.

Oh, I used it to mock you because even your CNN says your position is BS.

Definitely needs to be a limit on the Supreme Court. It benefits you to put someone young in office. No reason why someone appointed in 2010-2020 should have a say in the government in the year 2050.

Please link me to any study showing the amount of illegals committing voter fraud. Actually, just show me a study on voter fraud in general.

As a 64 year old who the majority of the people I descend from lived well into the late eighties and nineties, 65 seems a little early to say we don’t have a future.  I think 18 is right on the other spectrum.

I just recently met a 96 year old woman that was in amazing shape. It was insane. She must have struck gold in the genes pool because she was moving around with ease

I was helping her move something and her friend was like guess how old she is and said 96. I was like that’s BS Lol

My family had a relative reach 103 and a week or so. He may have gone further if he agreed to the pacemaker and not have a DNR. I think he was wheelchair bound in his last years though

Vote by mail, no reason we should be standing in lines for hours ,in all kinds of weather.

Make a secure cell phone app.

my grandfather was a manager of a polling place. I forget the title. There are big time issues with mail in votes.

That’d be very difficult to make secure. Theoretically not impossible, but can’t realistically be done now.

LOL how about the four Democrats the NJ AG just filed voter fraud charges against for producing mail in ballots. Yeah...never happens ;) Small case of what happens on a larger scale.

I know...nothing to see here...pile on the bull and excuses.

Not really. It just means your grandfather didnt see it. That doesnt mean it didnt happen.

My grandfather said Russian intelligence tapped into your voting machines and committed widespread electoral fraud last time, so everyone might be mailing it in metaphorically unless that gets fixed this time around.

Voting machines are probably more vulnerable than mail in votes, which have more safeguards than many of the machines.

The problem is that with COVID, many of the older volunteers won't show up to man the polls, which is limiting polling places, especially in urban areas, to the point where voting may not finish until well after midnight come election day without mail in voting - the Republicans  want this because there are more polling places per capita (and shorter lines) in rural areas. However, judges have made it clear you can't close a polling place until everyone in line gets to vote, b/c it's the state's responsibility to provide sufficient polling places.

As far as the protests, all the evidence so far (NBER and state health agencies) have found little or no impact on the rate of infections.

The super spreader events have been bars, churches, pool parties, etc. where people congregate for long periods without masks.

The NJ charges are for collecting and delivery of more than three ballots that aren’t their own and in some cases not having filled out the "bearer” section. Basically it would be taking my ballot and the ballots of my older neighbors and wife to the election office because I was headed that way.  Sounds a bit arbitrary to me.  Not clearly voter fraud either.  A good friend of mine, a Republican, got in trouble for getting signatures on a candidate petition for a Democrat friend who was running for office.  Said it then and will say it again, stupid law.  Our DA was smart enough not to prosecute the case. No voter fraud, just a friend helping a friend.

The pitiful attempts to show mail vote fraud just demonstrate how rare it is. It's simply a non-issue except for a small cadre of Fox News (and even more Sinclair and AON) viewers.

Ask BigEFly about the good ole days in Texas, when the dead rose in the East Texas piney woods to cast their ballots, while the Cows voted in South Texas.

The reason the Republicans have decided to oppose mail in voting (but not in Republican dominated states or for older voters) is they want long lines in urban areas this November to discourage voters, after they try to suppress voter registration.

The Republicans are now the minority party, and each 4 year cycle sees 1-2% of their base literally die off, so voter suppression is their only hope for victory.

Unfortunately for them, Trump is the best Democratic get out the vote motivator in the last 6 decades.

JFC. Trump campaign sued all PA counties today to limit our ability to vote by mail, a law passed with bipartisan support including my Republican representative and my Republican senator.  My 81 and 84 year old neighbors, I have no idea what party they are in and don’t care, have asked my help in getting signed up to get mail in ballots.  She has COPD and heart issues as well as a bad hip that leaves her in pain when she stands and should never need to go to the polls to vote.  What a dope move. As a Republican, I am embarrassed.
