A QB ....that can run when needed is a great asset.     When that's the main skill,  it has yet to work when it matters.

These two guys have cannon arms….unlike the GOAT. Their running ability adds so much.

Montana could also run well.... but in recent times, Brady wins without running.  There has not been a QB whose best aspect is running that has had any success in the playoffs. 

The level of play steps up for a team when the QB makes throws that allow teammates to also show off their skills.

Don’t agree. Kaeperneck I’d say was better running than throwing. Went to the SB. Don’t think he was as good at either as Hurts.

Donavan McNabb another running QB ended his playoff runs twice. Once in the NFC Championship game.

Mahomes just throws from all angles effectively. Underhanded. That one throw he sidearmed you get under the defenders arms. Just some spectacular stuff.

I just watched ARod the twice MVP go down to a team that couldn’t throw the ball. There are other ways to win.
