There's nothing wrong with sitting a1st rd Qb for a year.  Willis and Corral are both prime candidates to be redhsirted no matter where they go.  Anyways, Hurts is a running Qb who is likely to get dinged again at some point in the 17 game season.

I have zero options sitting a QB a year just asking what your plan of action would be if we went that route in the draft would You opt to sit the rooks and still go Hurts a year or go with the room and trade Hurts

No doubt a massive improvement

On third downs went from 28th to 4th….what….sick!!!

This shows why all draft picks aren’t the same. Hitting on a pass rusher or Wr gives you so much more value than a Lb.

Yup why hitting on a rookie QB is so huge and why teams tend to have so much success they don’t have 40+ tied up in one position.

Be huge for us to land that guy in the 2023 draft

And still couldn’t beat a winning team….. idk put value on results vs competitive teams.

What’s are stats vs playoff teams last year not the NFC Least

We aren’t paying 40 mil for a QB this year finally.

Nah….I think Wentz was only 34 mil against us last season.

Your right be great all this dead money will be off the books when we get the new rookie QB next year finally move on from Hurts

We should have a bright future at QB in 2023 plenty of cap to build around him and draft capital.

Be so much sweeter if the Saints tank this coming season which I could easily see happening.

We’ll see. If anything I’d think it more likely a vet QB. I expect Jalen Hurts to be QB1 Week one of 2023…unless he’s injured.

I don’t hell only reason hurts is going to be the week 1 starter this year is we couldn’t get a Vet QB to come here. Next year not likely any vet QBs will be available Russ/Rodgers aren’t leaving. Mahomes isn’t getting dealt nor is Allen. Who do you see becoming available

Yeah I have either Pitre or Brisker. Either would work, both round 2

Need to remember this is behind an elite OL. What if the OL was ≤ mediocre?

We didnt play anyone. Easy to get to 4th when you are playing Mother mary full of hope HS

Interesting reading on Corral. Things that stand out ACCURACY on the short to intermediate throws. To huge stables of what Siri wants to do

Lane missed several games DBs was clearly not playing at his hiders a few games there. Seumalo went down. Driscoll went down. Herbig and Opeta stepped in. Rook stepped in. Looks really big and good. Let’s not act like he started off blockbuster though. Got him run blocking and he could work it. Pass blocking was rough early on….really quite brutal.

Yea wonder if it had to do with the fact we have a QB that easily held the ball longer then anyone else…. The OL was playing well majority of the season even trying to act like they weren’t is just sad.
Hurts had strong OL play all season long

Trade and pay Deebo. Easy answer for much.

A first and third this year and a third next year should do it.
