Nobody is talking about practice?   Although I can see where you seem a little threatened here for your boy.

I was asking you about Strong before the draft in a hypothetical. So we’ll see how he works out. Strong armed accurate QB that can’t avoid the rush. How will he work out in the NFL of today?

It’s exactly all you’ve preached and cared about. The guy has strong arm.

70% completion rate doesn't hurt a bit lol

His release reminds me of Marino

Above all else: Practice

Get real - it's so early                                                         -

I want to root for the guy. Overcame injury. Opted out of his bowl game which I’d think FL would never forgive. Honestly think that does come off as pretty weak when you see he didn’t even get drafted. Him not getting injured in a bowl game for his school sure didn’t improve his draft stock any, did it? But going undrafted coming into a team that has two good QBs makes him an underdog for sure. He isn’t a similar QB to our starter. Kind of think having a guy that we don’t have to adjust everything for would be a better backup situation more. Daniel Jones I think could end up being a decent backup type next year. But hope all these undrafted kids prove the experts wrong and kick butt in The League.

You're looking at one scenario, there are many others. Howabout he works out as the next TB12? You never know. Rd 6 isn't too far off from udfa. I'll wait and see.

If Strong overtakes Shew….you’d think we would trade him….for whatever we could get. Team desperate enough might give up a fourth even. But even a sixth is better than nothing. I’d expect Shew wouldn’t be pleased and accept his spot of third string.

Yeah the quote from Siri was about the first day of mini camp.

Yeah....the posts from us had nothing to do with Siri.   Wrong discussion

Let me tell you what I see in this clip of his whole season highlight: the guy is standing in the same spot every single throw. Many are good throws that enable YAC.

How many fans know what the coaches do? Bet we had a better chancce at the 80-1 shot yesterday than we do on what the coaches know bout the 90 current players.

I Picked the horse yesterday….in our little family watch.

Great! Can I borrow 10 grand?

Imagine putting a grand on a scratch sub at 80-1. When I used to bet w/ my uncle, I would have put a few bucks there.

Lord….slow down. The guy successfully called a play in the huddle and completed a pass to a receiver in practice.

SO he has a 100% completion rate

Reading NFL defenses is more complicated than some think. You think this kid has been exposed to any level of defense a Todd Bowles could run? I don’t want to say he can’t do it. Just pointing out I’d expect that to take some time to evaluate positively.

Don't ALL rookie QB's need to go through this growing phase???

Nope, many QB's come into the NFL not ever calling plays. Kinda like working at McD's - robots

The guy has QB skills.   I even mentioned his arm strength didn't even stand out... it was his mechanics and his accuracy.

Yeah in a passing league, I like a QB that can pass.

This is the typical Ham post... you are your biggest fan.

Yep, he’s your ultimate QB. The No Mas special. Let’s see how he does in the league. Has all the only things you ever preach about. Let’s see if you’re right. Or maybe….there are many other things than being a strong armed accurate QB from one spot.

We’ll  see who looks more like a capable franchise signal caller.

Yes again,  I like QBs that can pass.

Idk what you are trying to say here. Is running more important than passing for a QB?     The kid may never play in the league, who knows.  But he is here because of his QB skills.... your boy is here because he can run.  If he could play QB there would be little question about him.   If he fails, it's because he sucks at playing QB.  His running ability is not in question.

It’s not just running. Much more our QB1 brings to the table than his elite rushing ability. But also you should take notice what it takes to get a pass off and run different plays in The League. Is mobility always a rush….or do you need to move around the pocket….some plays call for a rollout.

First off,pi** on Daniel Jones. Secondly,we don't have "2 good QB's", we have 2 AVERAGE QB's. Not real hard to see someone blossom and take their jobs. Shew should be safe this year. Strong may play in garbage time, give Shew a few snaps. He wasn't drafted because alot of team won't take a chance with an(as it's a rule they have). The others either have their QB or drafted one they like better

No they all have to get used to the increased speed of the NFL game as opposed to college. They also have to grow and learn to read new defenses they weren't exposed to in college

Shoulda "called it" before the race not after LOL

Hmmmm…..grow and learn…get used the NFL play speed. Hopefully our young QB can do these things.

LMAO, WOW aren't these 2 of the major factors needed to perform at the NFL level????

Hurts, and every other rook QB has to do it. Hurts is in his last year of trial. After 3 years he needs to progress beyond 1 read

That’s how we watch the races. Call your horse and root for him to succeed.
