Covey probably won't make it unless he is flat out AMAZING as a returner. With how bad/flimsy we are at DB I would be surprised if we didn't put at least one of those 2 on the PS(maybe both). Strong is better than the #3 we have now,see no reason he isn't rostered. So I will tell Nasty Nate to go swim in hogwash

  If Next year's QB's were available in this year's draft, I can safely say Hurts would not be starting this year. The Eagles would have drafted one of the top 5 QB's. Hurts will benefit from that as he can prove himself this year to avoid the Eagles taking a QB in next year's draft...

He's just saying that those UDFA's...i.e., long shots....are candidates to possibly get a lot of hype during training camp only to end up cut or on the practice squad.  Whether or not any of the guys he listed will be like that is anyone's guess.  

There's another old-time sarcastic name that goes along with "nasty Nate" is the "Na Brown award".  Na Brown was a WR who always had great camps but could never translate it to the regular season.  Yet every summer he was on the team, fans swore "this was the year"...lol

Our secondary is weak,would not shock me if the 2 DB's make this team(as BU's or PS) I had Jobe ranked on my lock list as a round 5. Mailata seems to have worked out well(a UDFA). Strong is better than the #3 QB we have already,he will stick. Covey is probably a cut

I'm glad we waited a year. Much better QB class next year and we needed to build up the team before investing in a round 1 QB(or FA). So I like the slow steady approach rather than Howies knee jerk reactions. it seems Howie has his ego under better control now. 2 nice drafts in a row

My hope is,Strong develops,shows us his injuries are past history. I just don't want another Bradford,but he could become QB1. He has the tools and as a passing QB we have the WR's now

2022.... the perfect season for Hurts to play EVERY snap.   It helps both guys and the team the most.
