Not if I was coach,I would want to see my young QB's ability to read D's and pass if that's what I am looking for

Right...and the opposing team would be like WTF is this @$$jole passing the ball in a blowout, that's when cheap shots happen.

They can happen anytime,we should know that with Wentz and Bradford

Herbert, burrow, Jones, hell mills play on par with him with a way worse team. Tua has played just as well as Hurts.

5 QBs since you want to limit it just from 2 drafts

Lmao and Hurts had a superior supporting cast I can’t even name a NE WR.

You might want to work on your reading comprehension. Jones is the closest to even making a run at Hurts. The only one. Yet you really miss what Hurts brings to the table.

You don't have to have my opinion at all.  I'm just saying the 2000 snaps he takes in practice is better than to see him handoff in a game... blowout means they won't pass.  I don't need to see him hand off.   I don't want my team to be the @$$hole team passing the ball up big at the end of the game...that's when opponents take cheap shots.  If we are down huge...I still want Hurts in the game. Let him struggle through and have his intangibles shine...lol

They wear a don’t hit me jersey in practice. Can Strong thrive in a don’t hit me situation? Absolutely. Problem is that isn’t really football at all.

unreal. You are so mesmerized by Hurts, you ignore all of his deficiencies! What did Hurts do as a passer that we are missing? Yes, Hurts is a good running back, but that is not what we need behind the center. When has a great running QB won anything? Never! He has to be able to throw the ball and read defenses. Until he shows that he can, he will not be considered a #1 QB in this league. Mac Jone had a better coach, but the O-Line was much worse and he did not have the supporting Cast Hurts did. Who on NE was close to Smith or Dallas?

A rookie WR is the strength of your argument? Whoa….Hurts threw to him for almost a thousand yards. Goedert had his career season. Not sure how deep of blame you’re laying on Hurts here. Seems like he did very well for both of those guys.

Baloney. I know he was interested in buying into/all of the Dolphins (I know Dan Marino-dated his cousin for 12 years). He may have changed his mind now with the FOX sports contract. I doubt he could do both at the same time and the FOX gig is alot easier

I put the whole story out there. Tried to explain it to you. It was a way he was going to force Tb to trade him to Miami which they didn’t want to do. So he was going to move over as fake owner so he could still be involved until they forced the Bucs hand enough.

oK you would know better than Marino LOL

You really miss what a good QB looks like. And it’s laughable that you don’t see all the other QBs that are clearly superior

Because it would seem easy to say Mills threw more deep passes then Hurts???? Not at all hard to believe.

Again I don’t have hurts colored glasses on and think he is so great… If you watched what Mills did with a terrible Texans team yea not hard to see that he was on par with Hurts who had better coaching, better OL, WRs, TE, RBs you name it

Jalen Hurts in 20 games- 4205 passing yards 1138 rushing yards 22 passing tds 13 ints 13 rushing Tds 18fumbles(3 lost) 59% completion

Totals 5343 yards 35 tds 16 turnovers

QB A-in 21 games 4437 passing yards 27 passing Tds 15 ints 236 rush yards 6 tds 10 fumbles(0 lost) 66.2% completion

totals 4673 yards 33 tds 15 turnovers

Just want to know if QB A on par with Hurts

Also to add Hurts has 9 wins in 20 games

QB A has 14 wins in 21 games

But,but Hurts has those intangibles!!! So he is automatically better

That Rookie WR was hands down better than anyone NE had. So was Goedert. Yes they had allot of Receiving yards. Imagine what they could have had with Someone who actually made his reads was throwing to them!

Look, We all want Hurts to succeed. We jus feel he has way too much to go for the Eagles to keep him around next season. I hope Hurts has an amazing season and turns everyone's heads!

That would free up a bunch of draft capital next year and push us into contention sooner.

Any predictions this year on record? Fairly easy schedule again, but most teams shouldn't be hampered with injuries when we play them like last year. I'm hoping for a 9-10 win season. We will know about Hurts after only a few weeks in I would think

I see superior others. They weren’t drafted after Hurts though. That’s all I said.

Injuries can happen anytime... cheap shots will happen if you pass the ball up big in garbage time.

I’m sure some excuse will be made for any top teams we beat. Not looking like too many top teams currently.

Took over a 3 win team and then the team deliberately tanked a game. But let’s hold all that against him. We drastically improved in pretty much every way in Hurts first year starting vs ‘the franchise guy.’

Agreed .... if a QB on the roster steps up to be a franchise QB....that would be great.
