No problem brother. I was just trying to express how much I liked seeing a 1st Rd receiver perform at an expected level.

I know right! They going to try and get physical with him this year. So we’ll see how he does. Arguably his biggest weakness. Guy works his tail off on details. He will get it. Plus got a top press beater to maybe give him a tip or two. Think Slim Reaper has so many different skills he can teach AJ a thing or two as well.

You point towards Hurts as going into his third year. Which is just beginning anyway…but he’s 23. Plenty of guys in the draft his age. Love having quality vets to mentor the young guys. But clearly the guard is changing over. So yeah…I am more focused on Milton’s development than Cox future. These young guys maybe extend sone of the older guys careers. Is Graham a starter? You think he’s the starting SAM over Reddick? That would be surprising. Are Barnett and Sweat starters? Not even sure either are. Think they are rotational pieces. Have to think Barnett for 4-3 run and Sweat 4-3 pass rush. But looks like we going more 3-4. How do those two fit depth wise in a 3-4? Gotta utilize Sweat….but can’t say he’s starting over Reddick either. All three just entering their prime.

Ham... the players that will be on the field for the Eagles are experienced players.  Barnett is going into year 6...same as Cox,Curry, Kendrick, Foles during the SB run.

You can focus on whoever you want, and spin things however you like.  Trying spin Dallas Goedert a 5th year NFL veteran as a " new starter " is hilarious.

This team is experienced and ready to win now.  No excuses!

Barnett came in very young to the league and still is pretty young. Don’t see him starting though. Not even sure his role exactly. Going to be running a different D this year I’d expect though. So even though he’s been in the league a few years probably getting asked to play a different role. Which will require a learning curve. Quez, Smitty and AJ are far from grizzled vets. Goedert has one year starting under his belt. You think he’s achieved his maximum last season? Think he got a huge launch from finally taking over. I expect a career season. Improved Redzone player would also be nice.

Everybody only seems to look at QB for the improved passing game expectations(along with AJ of coarse). I expect Lane to be a better pass blocker this season. Also would be great if he plays the full season. Dickerson was actually close to dreadful pass blocking to start. Getting abused. Part of the need to run instead.Lane, Mailata and Dickerson are big time run blockers when on their game. Probably add Driscoll in on that. Mailata had a great season overall. But still think he will improve and dominate pass blocking this season. Dickerson improved some pass blocking last season. Of coarse that’s a low bar considering his start. I could really see him making a giant leap in pass blocking year two. Just leaves whoever wins RG. But I do think this will allow more passing opportunity.

Ok... look across the league.    And look at our team.   We are very experienced with the guys that will be playing.

You tell me who you see in the defensive front.  The rookie Davis and 2nd year Milton...the rest of the guys are all 5, 6 or more seasons...Sweat, Barnett, Reddick... 5, 6, 6.  Hargrave, Cox and Graham the other guys.

The OL... Mailata 5th year, Dickerson 2nd, Kelce 12th, Seamulo 7th, Lane 10th.

You see these key position groups as inexperienced?   " yeah but the age"  age isn't experienced.  The team is NFL experienced compared to other teams.

I really like this well thought out idea. Almost what Rosie needs to do. He knows he stinks at drafting the position. Probably need to wait until June. Make it happen. Feels like the biggest missing piece to me. Bates and Epps …I like that combo.

UH, Brown,Smith,Goedert,Stoll all experienced red zone players, add to that we have RB's(and Jjaw if he makes the team) that can catch in the RZ,so IDK what you are hepped up about LOL

No offense, but why would the Bengals trade him away? Any writer can come up with a trade rumor/suggestion,but the other team needs to want to do it

Mailata has lots of bench experience. Didn’t even play football until not that long ago. Don’t know if Seumalo is the starter and stays. Could open up money if we move on from him. Then you got rookie Jergens, Driscoll or Opeta. Sanders only played his Senior year of college and hasn’t stacked up a ton of carries in any season…or really game yet. He’s a RB but clearly can see he is still growing on the passing game areas. Stoll year two. You would think he still contributes quite a bit.

Defense:  Epps.  potential outside CB opposite Slay. I figure a Young Corner is used plenty in special packages and to get guys a breather possibly. Milton. Davis. Edwards. Maybe Taylor happens this year. Then you got Sweat and Maddox just off rookie contracts. Dean is a stud. But we are changing the D. How ready  is our D for that? Just don’t believe you can get but so far in TC. I’d expect they keep adding new parts as they go instead of super swamping everything.

Goedert had 4, 5, 3, and 4 TDs each season of his career. You don’t think he can improve this? Stoll only played one year. Smith only played one year. AJ is a tough dude down there. Big part of why he is a crucial addition. Quez isn’t looking like a Redzone guy. He came out and Ward came in.

No other teams have rookies? everyone has more experience than we do? Another easy(I believe the easiest) schedule yet again. No excuses not to win

IDk who we pass to,how about the guy thats open? I'm not assigning WHO gets the ball. Goedert could get 3 or `13, pass to the open guy

But we trust him enough to sign him to a 4 year deal? So you think we would do that if we weren't "sold" on him? IDK seems like you are making issues where there aren't any

Huge cap hit tagging. But if I’m them I’m thinking they have a huge wide open window to contend. So picking up ughh …pick for a player leaving next season and shedding the big cap hit can make some sense. They also have some S. But I could also see you questioning it. You could maybe say similar about plenty of guys that have been traded throughout the years. But something like this kind of move, if not this exact move, for a S is the main thing that makes sense….for us. Maybe we don’t get that good of S. But how I see this year’s team lining up. Wouldn’t mind seeing the young options we have in house first in TC and PS. See what any of them have. Maybe we find something. Or maybe we at least figure out who’s not worth rostering. One way or the other I feel we have a ton of DBs we need to see.

Pitts new QB(inexperienced) Nobody knows if the browns can put this talent together, Ravens are middle of the road,so I see no reason they would make this trade especially for a round 2

IDK writers write to stay employed,so they come up with "wonderful" ideas LOL. We will be tied to 57 guys before camp

I'm wondering what the Wuss do with Landon Collins

So your opinion is the first year switching over from a 4-3 to 3-4 is flawless and at its peak week one? Just flip the switch. Sure everybody has rookies. Rookies are notorious for not being on the top of their game week one jumping into the league. Their is a learning curve. Traditionally it’s been a considered known fact it takes two seasons to transition fully to a 3-4. Heard DC after DC explain that logic.

So,how about a 1 year stop gap contract on Gipson? Bates-16 games-Gipson 12 games. Looks pretty similar and alot cheaper. Just a fill, not suggesting a long term, but we could use the help

Depends, if the rookies played in a 34,the learning curve isn't all that hard. Define "flawless" LOL. Nothing is perfection. How bad were we when we lost barwin and changed to the 43? And why can't we use both 34 and 43 as needed?
