LMAO,we catered to Hurts college RPO offense because Siri felt he had not grown up/developed enough to install an actual PRO offense until week 6. Now the FO has given this team every weapon it needs on offense,Hurts has no more excuses. I expect a MINIMUM of 4,000 passing yards. If you expect less,YOU are the one who wants him to fail

Nothing wrong with someRPO here and there. All offseason most expected we’d be relying on being a rushing team. Pretty criminal if Siri to take so long to figure it out. So bad there were rumors that Rosie was forcing him to pass pass pass to evaluate Hurts before the trade deadline. I actually could believe this rumor.

Already proven himself a starter.

We essentially lost three starting Oline to start the season. Brooks went down. Then Seumalo went down. Lane head wasn’t in the game. Then he actually walked away.

Brooks hasn’t played in 2 years essentially lame excuse Nate Hebrjf and Driscoll both have started more games and are more the starter then brooks…. Players deal with issues every year so lame duck excuse on Lane Johnson(hell brooks was missing games and dealing with anxiety and crap before missing the last two years with injuries).

Semaulo is the only starter that missed a huge amount of games for us last year.

I think we will have a top 10 pick from the saints this year. But won’t be in position for those top 2 QBs. So went with my 3rd guy Van Dyke who I really like lol

assuming WE GET a top 10 pick from NO, we could trade up to #3 with our first round selections. Maybe up to #2 with our frist two picks plus our 2nd rounder. Would that be worth it to any of you? I doubt we get up to #1 unless NO ends up with a top 5 and we finish no higher than 20, we could possibly get to #1 with both firsts and our 2nd pick. I doubt it would fly, but it is possible. I think getting up to #2 should be our priority, definitely no worse than 3rd pick....

No he hasn’t if he had he wouldn’t be on another 1 year trial and the Eagles would be talking about extending.

I will Semaulo has a full 16 game season as a full time starter under his belt… Driscoll has been a backup who hasn’t been able to finish a season healthy…

Opeta who has been below avg every time he has been in the game and Toth is meh

Well, we won't find out based on our Cap situation anyway. Joe says we have 7 mil yet to spend, so we should be fine, unless they go after a safety. If that happens, I could see him being a Cap casualty. You don't. I respect that....

I think the cost to get up to the #2 spot to get one of the top 2 QBs will be Steeper then two firsts and a 2nd. Even with a top 10 pick to use.

It depends I truly like 3 QBs as of right now in the way to early stages of 2023 draft. I’d rather take Van Dyke out of Miami my presumed 3rd QB and not have to move up to #2

Ideally we could get him at 6-7-8 where the picks falls in the top 10 could still have to move up slightly to make sure we secure him

Well, I have no clue how good these QB's really are TBO. If there are 3-5 solid #1 QB's and NO ends up with a top 10, I like our chances getting a good one should the need arise.

Even adding a S no need to do anything with Semaulo it’s unlikely that S will carry over a 7m cap hit year one of his contract the way Howie does deals.

Could see us moving Semaulo for the right trade offer with him being on his final year of his contract but I don’t see us outright releasing him

I like 3 guys right now two have been hyped for over a year now in Bama’s Young and Ohio St. Stroud those are the presumed 1-2 guys

Van Dyke took over last season for Miami and really took off looked really good another strong season should easily push him into top QB talks.

But that is another year away and lots will change from now till then

Of course Strong is still in the wings as well and if it wasn’t for the knee should have been in first round conversations.

Nope he will prove that(or not) this year

Why do you need to force your QB to pass???? isn't that what the position requires?????

I just took a peak at Walterfootball's Mock draft for 2023 and he has 3 QB's going In the top 5 and a 4th going at pick 7. so we may need to trade up to #3 as you said to make sure we get one of the top QB's

Would you lose him(*adding cap) to pick up Bates at S?

Round 1,I am intererested in Keely Ringo at CB if we don;t go QB

Late 1-Jordan battle at S also

This really makes no sense. Brooks went down. Dickerson forced right in. Didn’t have TC or anything. Just a rook thrown into action. Then moved to LG. He struggled pass blocking. That’s all just plain fact. Hurt the offense. Lane mental struggles showed on the field. You can talk about how he hasn’t been the only one to deal with this stuff….fine. But doesn’t change it showed up on the field. Especially his pass blocking. Then he actually missed games. Mailata missed a game due to injury. Then was forced back early to switch to RT on one leg.

All your BS excuses does nothing to change how we had issues pass blocking the first half of the season. It happened. Now they did learn and adjust and improved drastically. Especially since we started getting physical with defenders and letting our stud Run blockers…run block.

Yep totally usual to extend a rookie after two years….NOT! Another fail from BG. You’re on a roll today.

I think the Boston College QB could light things up this year.

Sure. No other options. Sure has nothing to do with having a bad WR room setup, Oline not pass blocking well….on and on. This is a very uneducated response. The best QBs need a running game to balance things. Too much football knowledge to have to explain to you here. But sure. Just force your first time starter to throw throw throw ….what could go wrong? I’m sure Reagor comes down with every pass….geeez

A million things happened this offseason. Does Russell Wilson moving fromSeattle to the Broncos matter? Your SOS doesn’t think so. Your head should say it makes a massive difference. If Brady retired or not….does that matter? Offseason SOS states it’s insignificant. I’d say it means everything.

I agree... but for you it didn't seem to matter that our opponents the 2nd half of last season were bad teams and some playing 3rd string QBs ,plus ll those other key players inured.

Remember.. Siri figured it out.  Or "every win in the NFL is a quality win because they are hard to get"     or " the team showed resilience "   or " the team rallied behind their QB"

The rest of the world sees how things worked heavily in the Eagles favor regarding the opponents, you argued against that all offseason.

I’m not blind to our opponents and schedule. Before the season I pointed out that very thing. Said that if we could hang in there early that the backend of the schedule was very favorable. Honestly things hit so rock bottom it appeared all was lost. Had to consider what would occur if we actually lost to the Lions. But the coaching did evolve and learn sone things. Gannon was outright dismal the first half of the season. That wasn’t all just opponent. The D was playing extremely soft. D still never was great. Establishing a physical rushing attack helped protect the D…just no doubts. I think moving Quez up to number two over Reagor was another positive and essential move, don’t you think?  Think Ertz was just a distraction. It caused problems. Trading him and giving Goedert his shiny new contract fixed some things there. Just so much….I can continue on.

What victories did we earn last season that you are so convinced those teams were soooo much better than us but for the injured players they were missing when we played them?

None... we haven't beaten a good team with their starting QB since Oct 2019.  We've been trying to point that out to you the whole time.   Throw in the injuries for these bad teams and it makes the point further.

And then all of a sudden a good team came along and they got crushed.   The opponent was absolutely the main factor last year.  They stunk and so we were able to run the ball.  The QBs stunk and all of a sudden Gannon looked like he knew what he was doing.    It's not really hard to see it.
