I think expectations were low for Opeta...that's why in your mind you feel he was a success.   Expectations go up...he will have to up his game.

He has super strong grip. He gets a hold of a guy he’s got him. I think he’s better than some starters in the league. Not any special potential ceiling. Not believing much dropoff from Seumalo to Opeta really.

Then if the league agrees...he will get paid.  Not a hard concept.  Have a great day.

I'm saying injury is the concern.  Healthy the new combo is better.  Not a difficult concept considering your only criticism of the other 2 is injury.  Right?

Not fumbling...not blocking...not receiving... like Sanders.

Sanders isn’t all pro. But I don’t think Swift and Penny were so perfect when healthy either. Had some great moments we are looking to consistently get out of them.

Why didn't they have more moments?   You can say it....injury.

I don’t know enough about Penny or Swift at this point to go bananas about. Swift is exciting, shifty and versatile. I liked the addition. Penny bit more hit and miss. Had an outstanding little hot streak I’m hoping he can deliver for us. Before the trade for Swift I wasn’t happy about the RB situation. So I’m mostly putting faith in him to come through for us.

I think it's obvious you hate him.   Because the team likes him better than Sanders. Sanders was your boy.  It's ok.   You overcame the hatred for Lane over time.  All good.

I hate the giants. I did want to draft Sanders in that draft. Gainwell just overhyped by certain fans. Hopefully they are right. No real idea where confidence in him comes from. I like the underdog Boston Scott though. Nothing given to that guy.

Right....don't go bananas over RB.  None are worth it...including Sanders.

I think Sanders you were in love with the " I called it" part.  Dude came up so small in clutch when given opportunity.   Great stat guy on paper...not a get the job done guy.   Now we should see more of a true split.  Not so many eggs in one basket.

Ziggy has same shot at hall as Gainwell does of being cut.

Availability is a necessity.

No…I’m pointing towards the non injury times

You said I hate him. I think he’s fairly insignificant. Run of the mill RB. I prefer Scott.

I never loved Sanders. But he’s a difference making talent.

Congrats...the Eagles prefer Gainwell.

This we disagree....big time.  Didn't make any difference at all.

I believe our team is built to be physical and run on people. I want to maximize that advantage as much as possible. I think Dalvin Cook would destroy people here.

Lost the SB. Were the correct? Or was Sanders and Gainwell the lesser option to go to? I think Scott would have been better that game. We’ll never know. But the bar they achieved was very very low. Really was quite painful to see. I did not see that part coming at all.

I want the split. My idea was clearly wanting two quality RBs so we reliably had a guy every week. Are Swift and Penny the right combo? Sure hope so.

How are you reasoning or explains this logic with what happened in Zona? Surely you aren’t building up the Chiefs run D as so elite.

Their QB didn't give us a free 6 either

Sanders dominated rushing. Was hurt in the SB and our Oline that was exactly the same didn’t deliver RB production. I mean, not theoretical here, it actually happened. We saw this Oline not carry Gainwell to success cost us the parade.

Were we not leading by 10 at the 1/2? What wasn't working?

I fail to see what Zona has to do with anything

Well according to Ham we need to switch to what they do because it's been so effective

Siri has plenty to be praised for. Guy loves football it seems. Works hard. But far from perfect. Started the job terribly. Gave over playcalling and we improved drastically. But we just will never know if Scott would have paid off enough. I do judge that Sanders they stuck with too much. Not roasting for giving him a go. But he didn’t have it. Saw it right off the bat. That adjustment was too slow. Bad call there. So clearly wasn’t on point with perfect decision making in the RB usage area. Gainwell wasn’t effective. So maybe Scott wouldn’t have been either. But I just see things as nobody believing or wanting Scott. He had to fight and earn everything the hard way. Forced his way to not be denied. Siri didn’t try him in that game though. Others failed. Fair to question as I see it. Scott just underrated player.

Why are you always in hindsight mode???? I mean we could go back and criticize the SB we lost with McNabb. We can bash any position as far back as you want. So Scott(who was noone like Blankenship was) isn't thrilled to have gotten a permanent job on a SB contending team?? Isn't that why he put the hard work in???? Putting in hard work doesn't guarantee you a thing. It gives you a CHANCE. Gainwell is working hard, but he's different or maybe he's not working hard at all? He can't succeed here? Blankenship worked hard, made the team, will be a starter this year. Not every guy is born with a silver spoon not every player that works hard makes the team, not every coach goes 16-1 his first year(in fact I don't know of any at all). IDK why you keep trying to break down things that can't be broken down. it's a GAME. The best players make the team according to the coach you have AT THE TIME. Maybe Ped would start different ones??? I have no clue, but why should I even wonder about it? Siri will play the best 53 IN HIS OPINION and we got to the SB on that opinion. So second guess everyone,I don't care because we you,me or anyone else thinks is immaterial
