Colts are 1-4 but not because of Wentz. He’s played well and is starting to get his mojo back as long as he stays healthy. Never understood the hate for him here by many fans.

VS Texans 11/20 223 yds. 2 TDs no Ints.  Not great but not going to get him benched either. Colts winning 31 - 3 doesn't hurt.

Wentz was great today. I know the statistics don’t wow but he had 185 yards at the half. He only went 2 for 5 for 38 yards the second half because they just ran the ball.

Yup and they didn't even pull him in a blow out. If they were concerned about that pick now would of been a great time to lower that percentage a bit. These coaches are not out here to play kids games over picks like the fans think.

No, Wentz with mental issues isn't a top QB. Wentz with the right coach (which he has) has the potential to be very good. I'm not sold he is out of the woods yet, but he is certainly looking much better.

Rational thought....hard to come by on a board where people take one extreme view or the other.

Dude was always talented. He was also in his own head last year which impacted his performance to a level way more than it should for a great QB. This year he looks like he is (with the right support) rebuilding himself back up.

But as you say too early in the season to tell just yet. He has been good and whilst there is more to W-L than just QB play, they haven't beaten anyone of note (Dolphins and Texans, should have won against the Ravens though) but generally lost to good teams (Seahawks w Wilson, Rams, Titans, Ravens) as well. Will get a better read over next two weeks but so far its been almost perfect for us; need to him to keep playing well enough to not bench, keep them somewhat in the hunt but also be lose enough close games to make the pick higher for us.

I'd love to see a poll of NFL executives of who would take Wentz versus Hurts.  My guess is that Howie couldn't vote enough times to keep from looking like the dumbest guy in the room.
