Anytime I have had one with provolone, it sits on top and the whole bottom half of the sandwich ends up being just bread and meat...dry. I blame the person making it... I've never had that problem.

I moved on, but if afan is going to put something out there like that, he should be willing to delve into it. He shouldn't drop something like that that is demonstrably inaccurate without being willing to discuss it further. That's the only point I have at this point. And afan does do that from time to time. Doesn't make him a bad guy, but it is frustrating.

If you ever go to Cape May and go to the Sunset Grill at Cape May Point, their, their buffalo chicken cheesesteak is amazing. It is a buffalo chicken sandwich with cheese on a hoagie roll. Words matter people! This is the blog, the place where we debated the meaning of 'franchise QB' and 'elite QB'.
September 15, 20214 yr I'm going to eat a cheesesteak for dinner, no roll, no cheese, no chopped steak with a dollop of herb butter on top

So in a rebuilding year why do you feel the need to rush him back within 9 months to play/practice? Typical ACL takes 9-12 months. He’s not even at 9 months yet. So what happens if comes back and gets hurt cause he came back too soon. Now another injury and you are affecting him in 2022. you could’ve let him get the full and proper healing time since you already informed everyone you are in a rebuilding. There’s no rush. To me you are potentially risking long term health by bring him back after 8 months in a year where you aren’t expected to be good and rebuilding. don’t get me wrong he can get hurt at anytime. He’s proven that in college. However you elevate the potential risk by bringing him back sooner and not giving him the extra healing time and rest. They are not doing anything to rush him back. The doctors are either clearing him to participate or not. My guess is that they are limiting contact but trying to get him reps in the offense. I would imagine practice is fairly light in terms of physicality.

I've never been to Philly so don't really have a frame of reference and admittedly cheese steaks aren't really my jam maybe because I've never had a real one but at Philly cheese steak in N. Cali it was onions red bell peppers steak and some kind of white cheese, I'm guessing American. I'm not sure if that's how a " real" Philly cheese steak is supposed to be done but it was all right. Red bell peppers (as opposed to green) is a nice touch but otherwise, not atypical. Not good, but typical. As was previously discussed, provolone is the appropriate cheese. Big question: how was the bread?

I wouldn’t even have him out there with his past injury history until he at least got to 9 months mark. He’s still at 8.5 months end started at the 8 month mark. I would taken full precaution with him. If it was his first injury I’d be way more get him out there. They are in a rebuild, it’s that important to get him practicing and reps the first six weeks? The six weeks aren’t going to make or break this season or his career but potentially coming back and pushing too soon could lead to another injury.

I make a homemade "Wiz" that is like 60/40 really sharp cheddar and velveeta (with spices and a roux and milk etc). Done something similar with sharp provolone and american for a pork sandwich before as well. Good cheese flavor, but with processed crap meltiness.
September 15, 20214 yr @HazletonEagle @Iggles_Phan @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! @LeanMeanGMHe HE was not fooling this thing is absolutely amazing! The steak is seasoned wonderfully and it's tender with just the right amount of cheese melted in. The roll could stand to be a bit more crusty and chewy on the outside but, it came wrapped so it probably got a little soft form that so I won't count that against it. The roll is still really good otherwise.

I have never gotten the roast pork because any time Im at Tony Lukes Im afraid to not go with the cheesesteak. I can tell you I would go spinach though because broccoli is terrible. Might want to do a little research on American cheese. It is processed cheese, not 'real' cheese.
