Oh man between bevell and O’Brien i don’t know how things could go south.

I heard Nagy got fired, but why does Ryan Pace get to keep his job?

He didn't

That explains that.  Have to assume both Gettleman and Judge get canned today as well.

The Matt Ryan one is particularly bad for atlanta. They didn’t need to restructure his contract last offseason and could’ve gotten out with minimal damage after 2021 but did anyway. He’s stuck there this upcoming year as it’s 48.6 mil cap number but also 40.5 mil in dead money unless they do it post June 1st and then it’s split. Either way they should’ve tried to trade Ryan last year when he still had decent value for a contender and gotten out of that deal. That’s the it’s better to get out a year too soon than a year too late.

It’s the giants, i wouldn’t make that assumption.

I don't think so.

The fact that they're getting the opportunity to pitch their plan to turn things around seems like they will get another year.

Falcons have 16 million in 2022 cap space with only 20 players under contract.  Ouch.

I thought Judge already gave an 11-minute rambling monologue to the media and that was his pitch.  Free agents are begging him to come there, past players are begging to come back.

I believe if they trade Ridley before the start of the new league year they save like 11 mil. But still ouch.

They should’ve went complete rebuild last year and dealt Ryan away to get picks.  allow him one last chance play on a team needing a QB as the final missing piece. That restructure was horrible the moment it happened.

The meaningless prediction winner for the meaningless game was me, @LeanMeanGM predicting the Cowturds 37 Eagles 24, which further establishes the fact my existence here is meaningless.

Anyway, bonus prediction winners were:

@Alphagrand Gainwell TD

@downundermike Tyree Jackson TD

@SB52 Minshew 2 passing TD's

@Utebird Quez Watkins TD

Dallas sucks.

@LeanMeanGM Thanks for taking the time to chart this all season. It was fun.

People talk crap on Howie for Wentz's contract but at least he can be cut for $0 after the 2022-2023 season. I can't imagine being stuck in that Matt Ryan debacle.

And all of them costing more than Brady.

Maybe if I beg for a job, he'll hire me.

Yikes. That would be a weird, weird hire.

I think it’s likely next year than this year. I think the bears go an offensive minded coach to work with fields. Minnesota is coming off a defensive minded coach. I tend to think they’ll go opposite of their last coach in zimmer and go offensive. Ditto with the broncos and fangio. Imo i think the raiders keep their coach. Not sure you want to go to jags and work with baalke and that ownership after dealing with the dolphins bad ownership.

actually think if the giants were smart (they aren’t) they’d fire judge and go get Flores.

I’ve been worried all morning the Giants would call Flores.

If he gets himself a good offensive mind (the next Sirianni-type guy) I wouldn’t rule him out in Chicago or Minnesota. I’d be surprised if Denver goes defense, although you’d think Elway understands the importance of strong leadership.

Im all for it. I wanna see cousins and kiffin communicating with each other on the sidelines. Lol.

Sad day for eagles fans.

If you let them embarrass your organization for one more season it sets you up for a potentially franchise changing QB, though.

Dolphins are a dumpster fire.

If I’m Flores i don’t want that Minnesota job. The defense needs a pretty big facelift. And I’m tied to cousins financially. I was just tied to tua who isn’t good enough. Cousins is better than tua but same boat where he’s just not good enough to build around and win. I rather have the bears job if flores believes in fields tbh. They have decent defensive pieces, Mooney, Montgomery and kemet. If you think fields can become a Good QB it’s more desirable imo than Minnesota. The thing besides ownership that sucks about the bears job is no first rounder. That hurts.
