I wasn't suggesting that Sirianni called a terrible game or a great game or anything in between, I was only commenting on the catch-all "the coaching sucked, the play-calling sucked" every single time there's a loss...  it's entirely predictable...

The one thing that bugged me about the play-calling, is that when they were pounding the ball effectively in the running game, the pass plays he mixed in were drop-backs...  seems play-action is the way to go there, or RPO, to take some of the heat off Hurts... maybe if I sat down and talked to the guy, he could totally school my amateur arse on why he did that...

Gonna have to use the picks we just got to get the QB too. Wentz rolling his ankle doesn't help either since it could mess up that 1st rounder. Sucks

Should have been more clear the first time since this actually was an instance of the playcalling sucking.

Predictable characters hot out of their caves to try to hate on Hurts.

 

The play-calling was a disaster.  Hurts threw a great TD pass to Reagor that ended up being called back at no fault of Hurts.  The goalline playcalling at the end of the 2nd half was just terrible.  Where was that 2 point conversion play that they used when the Eagles were down on the goalline for all those plays?  

 

Instead Sirianni got too cute with the idea of appeasing the fans and the city by doing the Philly Philly play on 4th down before the end of the half.  He called way too conservative of a game in the first half.  Then when things got worse in the 2nd half he instead flipped the offense to we are going to do nothing but try to chuck it down the field with those play calls.  It was a bad "mix".
