CMC getting injured?  I can recall the debates on here about not drafting him in the 1st round as he had a skinny body type and wouldn't hold up to full a RB schedule.

Workload has always been the issue and concern with him. Almost 400 touches his sophomore year at Stanford, another 300 his junior year, and he's averaged 365 touches in 2018 and 2019 for Carolina. Hurt last year and now again. Not a lot of guys are built for that, especially someone his size who isn't that big. Derrick Henry might be the only guy who can handle that type of touch workload. I can't imagine any running back getting a bigger deal than McCaffrey got though. It just doesn't make sense to commit that much to a position that is giving you 3-4 years of elite play.

Haven't watched that but I think this one is done by the same people.

It's been a good watch.

Episode 6 is about Fanatics and covers Philadelphia cowboys rivaly,

How old is that show.  I didn't even know there was a rivalry until Nick Sirianni wore a shirt about it.

😄

Would be awesome if Sirrianni opened the game with an onside kick, bring it back.

You wouldn't say that there aren't some players that are more prone than others?  And some that seem to be more durable?

Oh certainly there are guys who are more injury prone than others....D-Jax, Will Fuller are immediate names that jump to mind. I guess my point was that it seems, with a few exceptions of course, that every long term NFL player suffers a significant, season ending injury at some point in their careers. It seems inevitable.

I think the Panthers Defense is legit... Unsure of the Offense.

But a top tier Defense can win you a lot of games in this league.

We will see how good their defense is when they don't play the Jets and Texans.

But they could be very good.

No it wouldn't and that's exactly something he'd try to do to pander to the fans just like his bad Philly Philly call on 4th down.

Yes that was a bad call, and yes it seemed like pandering, had it worked eagles fans would have inducted sirrianni into eagles HOF.

Been watching a series in Hulu called,

" Dark side of Football".

Episode 6 is about Fanatics and covers Philadelphia cowboys rivaly, John Clark, Chad Lewis, Darren spoles Sean landeta are featured commentary, along with Tony Casillas and a few other cowboy turds.

Episode 3 covered belichicks cheating scandals is a good watch.

Id recommend the series to anyone whose a football fan.

Some of those episides are hit or miss.  The one you're talking about with the rivalries was very good.  I'm pretty sure those episodes are posted on YouTube.

Haven't watched wrestling in nearly 20 years but Dark side of the Ring is awesome.  So good.

That doesn't qualify someone as 'injury prone'.  Ultimately, football is a game with injuries, and there's no way to get around that.  BUT... some guys just get hurt way more often.  Soft tissue injuries, especially.

I was never trying to qualify who or what was injury prone. More of an observation that every player suffers a significant injury at some point in their pro careers is all.

Carson Wentz loves Philadelphia and Eagles fans.  He's going to do everything in his power to make sure he plays 75% of the snaps so we get that 1st round pick.  Carson knows how important that is to us.  He'll do anything to not let us down.  We should all be thanking Carson Wentz for all he does.

I have only done one half.  I usually run about 10 to 12 miles a week.  I am usually fine if it's less than 5 miles.  If I am running more than 5 miles I definitely need something.

I'm down to running 4-6 miles a week. I usually bicycle now. That said it will be put away for winter now so likely I will run a few more mile over the winter. I was cool to be able to do the half marathons for a guy like me but I really don't like running

Man, I don't think it's that big of a deal and definitely not the most painful thing this week in the blog. The racism comments were very high on my scale personally.

I'm not really talking about the blog. More so Twitter

The Titans have a better run D than pass D, but if the Colts throw more than 60% of the time they deserve to have a top 5 pick and a wasted season.

Agreed.  But that doesn't mean that there aren't players that are more injury prone than others, which is what @Casey @ Bat was talking about.   Football has a much higher instance of injury than other sports.  But even in that case, there are still players with a greater injury frequency than others, for whatever reason.

He knows the deal. This is his last shot, he spends half the year on the IR and its over for him as a legit starter

Jason Avant and Quentin Mikell had a good discussion about why that was such a bad play call.  They talked about how it's only a play to run against man coverage and the person in motion never crossed the formation so they could not really tell if the defense was in man coverage.  SF was in zone.  They also explained that the defense is always going to have man assigned to Hurts so unlike Foles he's never going to be wide open if that player sticks to his assignment.

It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things but it's always so annoying how we just sit at 51 man roster and won't do anything at this point besides sign someone from the PS to the main roster. I don't know why they don't just do it earlier and bring in someone new on the PS.

They added OG Anderson from Buffalo's PS.
