I thought Zumoff and Alaa were just starting to hit their stride. They were good last year.

Best duo by far.  Absolutely loved how they worked together.  Zumoff was hands down my favorite local announcer.

Did I read that right earlier?  Seattle is ranked last in defense?  Kinda surprising when you have an all pro at LB and Safety with Diggs who is still good as well.

They've been bad on defense for at least a couple years now.

I think they specified run defense.

Just a little surprising seeing as though they have Bobby Wagner and Jamal Adams on that unit.  Rest of the defense must be just terrible.  Possibly worse than our defense.

Who thinks of them as Princesses?  We think of them as Queens.

Princesses marry a Prince Charming, who'll pamper them and they'll never have to grow up.

Elizabeth the I was never a "princess." As the Protestant daughter of Anne Boleyn, she was considered a **** and a heretic, and lived in fear for her life until she ascended to the throne, only to face a Spanish invasion which might have ended with her burned at the stake.

Catherine the Great was a princess only in name. Her family had very little money. The young Sophie was groomed throughout her childhood to be the wife of some powerful ruler in order to improve the position of the reigning house of Anhalt. She detested her husband, who was an alcoholic who was emotionally stunted and physically repulsive. Her mother was a cold, abusive woman who loved gossip and court intrigues. When Sophie arrived in Russia in 1744, she spared no effort to ingratiate herself not only with Empress Elizabeth, but with her husband and with the Russian people. She applied herself to learning the Russian language with zeal, and made the decision then to do whatever was necessary and to profess to believe whatever was required of her to become qualified to wear the crown.  She deposed her husband with the support of the Russian Orthodox church, as she had converted.

I know Kansas City ranked 31st in total yards and ppg

A hot-take I truly believe: Sean McVay is an average coach who has benefited from generational players to bail him out.

They don't have the lineman up.front like they used to, to keep the linebackers clean to get the stops.

We have the opposite problem. We don't have the linebackers to make.the stops even if the lineman give them clear paths to the rb

Who is generational on their offense?

They are last against the run and total yards.  5th worse against the pass.

Jamal Adams really isn't that good. He is more of an in the box safety that they send on blitz's.

The Rams had all-pro Gurley in his prime + a HOF in Whitworth. On defense, Donald/Ramsey are HOFamers. Suh might make the HOF.

The Rams defense has generally been better than their offense than McVay's tenure.

Washington is allowing 30.5 ppg and 417.5 yards a game, both the worst in the NFL.

So much for a dominant defense.

McVay is very good. If he has a short-coming, it's his drop back passing game. He does great with the PA pass, but has never had a great scheme for the drop back game. People like to blame Goff for 100% of that, but it's been the case for McVay as a head coach and as an assistant with other QBs.

It's a minor criticism though... there aren't many head coaches who scheme it up at that high of a level. I think it's something he'll get better at, especially with a talent like Stafford.

I said the same about Kyle Shanahan.  Good OC but wouldn't surprise me if he has a long tenure as SF coach but ends up with a Marvin Lewis type of career.  Solid team most years, will make the playoffs some years but never get back to a SB or close to it.

Their offense has been ranked better then their defense every year accept last year since McVey got there.

1 lineman and 1 running back isn't exactly spectacular for generational talent especially one of them that was in his late 30's.

His shortcoming is he’s a straight up coward

I listened to Sirius right before the season and they had a Washington beat writer on saying their defense was overrated cause they played some really bad QBs last year that skewed the numbers. Here’s the list of the QBs they played last year

wentz

hurts/sudfeld

dalton x2

Daniel jones x2

kyler murray (gave up 30)

Mayfield (gave up 34)

lamar (gave up 31)

Goff (gave up 30)

Stafford (gave up 30)

 Burrow/Finley

Big Ben (end of year collapse)

mullens

Russell Wilson (was their best game)

bridgewater

brady (gave up 31)

He's another coach from that tree who can draw up the running game really well, but their passing game without PA leaves you wanting more. Garappolo/Lance will do that for you though...

I know they've had RB injuries but that's when his offense was most dangerous.  2018 they ran the ball really well with Gurley.  This passing all the time crap rarely ever works.

I actually had a friend last week going into that Cardinals Rams game (who is a huge Cardinals fan) tell me whatever you think you’re going to expect in an NFC west matchup it almost always does the opposite. He told me that and it’s exactly what happened last week.  that’s how he bets on games in the NFC West games.

The issue with the Rams is you had to go from a big time game against the Bucs, big-time game against the Cardinals in the division and then on a short week go to Seattle with another big time game. That’s a brutal stretch. All three of those teams are likely to be playoff teams and not just playoff teams by super bowl contenders

Overrated sure. But man with all those 1st rounders + Ron Rivera I’m shocked they are the worst in NFL. I thought their floor would be in the 20-16 range

Hard to say it’s gonna be a Marvin Lewis type career. Marvin Lewis never won a playoff game. Kyle Shanahan got them to a Super Bowl with Jimmy Garoppolo. That alone was better than anything Marvin Lewis did in Cincinnati

Rams are 1-15 under Sean McVay when trailing by 4 or more points at halftime...
