July 1Jul 1 Message sent to Putin today. There are 22 Gripen in this pic and I saw 23 at once (this formation and 1 other off to the side) flying low over our golf course today about 20 miles outside of Stockholm. Ridiculous amount of noise. I've seen fighters over me countless times in Tidewater VA and in other places but I've never seen 23 directly above me flying low at once. It was rather thunderous. There were a couple singles flying over us 5 mins earlier and then this thing just appeared. Turns out it was a celebration of 100 years of the Swedish Air Force.
July 2Jul 2 Remember during the debates when Trump said he would end the war within 24 hours of being voted president elect. Here we are, 14,544 hours later and the war rages on.

It's obviously no where near as capable as an F-35, but it would seem that it's an ideal airframe for countries that have the coin for it, but wouldn't necessarily be able to purchase F-35s.If I were Saab/Sweeden, I'd be pushing them on India and SEA countries, notably Taiwan, but for some reason they keep trying to get bids from countries that can and would just buy F-35s.

Tuesday at 10:24 AM3 days Now Trump is talking about sanctions and penalties on countries buying Russian energy. That SEEMS good before you think about the impact on energy from the Iran situation. EU and other places now have a significant increase in reliance on Russian gas due to the lack of gas coming thru the Strait. That's a problem and there is no easy solution out there that balances everything optimally. Fing State Farm.I wonder if Trump will try to connect the dots of shutting down the Strait (he did), putting massive sanctions on EU countries importing Russian oil (he says they are looking at it), and then renewing his demands on Greenland (he just did that). Well, Trump can't connect those dots himself but someone near him might do it or have already done it.
