They don't treat combat casualties the same as we do in the West. NK doesn't either.In terms of the Iranian vessel, hard to say. Ukraine has been very calculated in what they hit, so it must have been containing something, or it was used to transport arms to Russia. Between the accidental shootdown of the Ukrainian airliner in Tehran a few years ago and Iran providing Shaheds to Russia, Ukraine hates Iran anyway, so they couldn't give two ishes. I don't think it was a "we'll scratch your back" to the US for something, but who knows.
