April 24, 20205 yr Watched first two episodes of The Money Heist. Its entertaining so far, nothing spectacular but not a bad way to pass some time.

I haven’t really like many Netflix original movies. I thought this was really well done. Great fight scenes, they make you feel for the characters, and some crazy stuff in Bangladesh which is believable.
April 26, 20205 yr Never been into the reality shows. Tried out too hot to handle. Spoiler Damn it's amazing how they are so calm about others making them losing so much money. They were clapping when losing $3k for making out sometimes. Wow I'm surprised fights didn't happen. The show is likely fake so adding fights would have been entertaining and more realistic for losing that much money to small things That one woman has been the cause of losing so much money Disappointed they blurred out her bewb. It's on netflix so there was no reason to act like it was on basic cable Thought splitting the price between the 10 people was lame. Thought the chick that cost the group so much money and then was able to bring it all back should have been the single one to win it all. $7500 for each was meh Can't believe I watched a reality show

And it’s quite possible it would split amongst the whole group (at best), which means like $5k per person after taxes? They came on thinking it was going to be a month long F-fest and for how little they were likely to get after a split, they should have just went buck wild the whole show
April 26, 20205 yr Extraction is legit. Story is nothing special but good action and some really great cinematography

They could have set up a netflix franchise of this guy doing jobs which would have been cool. I wonder if either he or the produces didn't sign off on multiple movies

When they didn't have him do it I assumed it meant he was dead. He got short in the neck though. Not sure how he survives that. It wasn't even on the edge but diagonal and in the middle EDIT: I googled it and this site thinks he's alive https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2020/04/26/did-tyler-rake-survive-for-a-netflix-extraction-sequel/#62333dbe4a07 They are saying that's him in the background. No idea how they say he survived that shot though

No idea how they say he survived that shot though Spoiler Yep, that’s the scene. They wouldn’t include some white dude for no reason. They also showed he can do that trick where he dives in the water and can sit still at the bottom for a long time, which at least explains how he could get out of that situation. But like you said not sure how he makes it out with multiple bullet wounds and no allies around. I guess they could always write in some cheesy way he lived.
April 27, 20205 yr I just watched extraction. Yep. Great gun choreo and lots of it. Spoiler I figured he is alive. Id assume the kid is trying that because the GI Joe guy taught him so he must be alive. And I figure that was him standing by the pool at the end. Im also guessing the GI Joe guy might have custody. .
April 27, 20205 yr I just watched Unorthodox with the wife. 4 episode mini series. Very interesting story about a woman escaping from a Satmar Jewish Community in Brooklyn. These people in the ultra orthodox jewish communities seem to be living more cloistered lives than even the Amish. Quick watch.
April 28, 20205 yr I’m a few years late with just getting Netflix for Christmas but have been enjoying The Ranch in the evening during the work week. Over last weekend we did Waco, a few episodes of the Innocence project and Fallen Angel.

Watched episode 3. I thought that it was 4 parts meaning 4 episodes....apparently its 4 seasons of like 12 episodes each wtf. I'm out on this show now. It's ok but idk how I could watch an english dubbed bank robbery show with uninteresting characters for 4 seasons
April 30, 20205 yr Just finished the 1st episode of The Last Kingdom. Holy ish............what a fantastic first episode. Most shows take awhile to get into, but this starts off 100 mph. 4 seasons of this should keep me going for about a week.
April 30, 20205 yr Watched extraction, but it didn’t pull me in in such a way that I see myself watching it repeatedly

May 1, 20205 yr What Happened to Monday was good, not great. I enjoyed it. Would recommend. action/sci-fi/dystopian
May 2, 20205 yr Desire. The full translation is "You will desire your sister's husband". Don't ask me how I found this retro Argentinian soft porn, but I did, and I can't tell you how entertaining it is. Ma. It scores some points as an old school classic horror movie with some Hitchcock elements, but ultimately this movie is too boring, committing the cardinal sin off forgetting to be fun.
