Fournette was productive and if the Eagles were in a position to contend I think he would have been a good addition.  The money they are paying for him is way more than his production has warranted.  I mean he has $11 million in guarantees on a 3 year $21 million. The average value puts him in the range of a top 10 back in the League.  That is not what he has been and it's not likely that he's going into his prime but is past it.

Details on Leonard Fournette's three-year, $21 million contract with Bucs, per @Jason_OTC: Cap number for 2022 is just $3.91 million, with a $2 million base, $4.5 million signing bonus and $500k in per-game roster bonuses. Base salary goes up to $6.5m in 2023 and 2024.

Wouldn't go near the package he would cost if I were the Eagles. Could fill too many holes on defense with the two firsts and that is going to be a massive chunk of a team's salary cap.

Jeremiah's latest mock has the Eagles drafting (in order): Wyatt, Lloyd and Mafe in Round 1.   That would be a 'win' in my book.

Booth was still available... but for me, DL over CB all the time.  So, I can see this being the best we could do based on his projection.   Interestingly, he had Walker at #2 overall.

Yes 100%

As someone with Mahomes in a lot of keeper leagues, I hope they figure this out. Mahomes and Hill are the perfect combo.

Hill in our offense would be neutered by Hurts' average arm strength.

I don't care the cost... do not want.

Hill and Waddle

I take back my yes. Adams went for a 1st and 2nd. How do they expect to get 2 1sts?

Oh god please no

Hill for Waddle?

More leverage I guess. Adams was franchised so the max they could have got back was 2 1sts. They did well to get the 1 and 2.

Those are exactly the kind of teams that would drop multiple day 1 picks on a WR.

Wow.  Something is up.  Wonder if he broke his kids arm again.  But if Andy wants to get rid of a dirtbag, it’s be something big.

What I told my buddy. Guess he needs more police payoff money

I like both ridder and strong in the 2nd, no way in the first.

Too many better players at other positions.

I just don't think there's a good solution to the QB in this year's draft.  Why invest in another project player when there will be better options next season.

That’s an idea, though it’d be way more than that. All Waddle has proven so far is he’s no Ja’Marr Chase.

Davante Parker would catch fire if paired with Patty Ice. Parker, a 1, and a 3?

That's still $7 million this season and closer to $13 million in total money if he's on the roster next season.  That is top 10 RB money.  He has not been a top 10 RB.  Maybe he had other offers that approached that number but it's more than any other RB has received this offseason.

 Comparing Tyreek Hill and MVS because "speed for speed" is like comparing Mike Evans to JJAW cause "size for size."

Hill is two years younger. Packers we're also capped because of the franchise tag. If they were asking for more, teams could just sign Adams and give them 2 first rounders.

If Stroud and Bryce Young are the consensus best prospects for 2023, it's absolutely NOT a strong QB class.  There will be more options; not sure about better.
