We talking about Malik Willis?  That guy isn't even an especially good running QB.  He disappeared in bigger games.  If you can't run the ball against Ole Miss then you sure as hell are not gonna be able to run against legit NFL defenses.

Wishful thinking. Howie literally went to have dinner with Pickett.  If they weren't shopping in that house at all why do you think he would have done that?

The reddest of red herrings? No, I don't think so either.

Yes.

I really hope we end up with Flowers, and Howie is just sweating him out until he agrees to a prove-it deal.

Reddick-Sweat-Flowers-Graham-Cox-Hargrave-Williams would make me feel so much better about our pass rush going into this draft. But with Cox coming back from major injury and losing Barnett, I don’t feel great about our DE situation even if we get 1 in round 1.

The Jets have two 1sts and two 2nds.  They could offer #10 and #35 overall, plus a pick in 2023 and still have lots of draft assets to spare.

I wouldn't do it, but lots of teams in their position would.

I think a 3rd is doable. A 2nd would take a RedskinsWFT, Commanders level bungling.

True.  Better do it this year.  If he sucks again and enters a contract year (or we draft a QB), he isn't worth anything.

Been saying this for weeks.  They could get a 3rd round pick now.  We'll be having the same conversations next year at this time and the Eagles would be lucky to get a 6th round pick.

Hills a POS but not often is HOF talent available in their prime. I’d strongly consider giving up a 1st and 3rd

Chiefs are punting on the year if they go through with this. They probably don't make the playoffs.

Why?  The maturity?  The availability?

I believe him to be a much better qb

Do you remember what they gave Leveon Bell, only to cut him 1.5 years later? Do you remember what they gave CJ Mosley, only for him to play 18 games in 3 years?

Do you remember how quickly they abandoned Sam Darnold to jump to Zach Wilson, only for him to be somehow worse? Do you remember when they decided they were better off with Geno Smith than Mark Sanchez (who just won them 4 playoff games)… only to bench him after only his second season?

Do you remember in 2015 when they had 4 of the top 15 best DTs in the world: Leonard Williams, Snacks Harrison, Muhammad Wilkerson, and Sheldon Richardson… only to screw it up with every single one of them and have 0 on the roster by 2019?

The Jets will do whatever they want, and they’ll tell you they’re smart and you’re not  and you don’t have any idea how to win in the NFL. And then they’ll fire their coach and GM and do it all again.

Hill is the second best non-QB in the league behind Donald, IMO

It is not like they can't get a WR with all the draft capital they pick up from the Jets, or sign ODB.  Can you imagine one of the Bama WR's, or the Ohio State WR's, or Treylon Burks with Mahommes.

Yea but I wouldn't bank on a rookie filling that void year 1. Plus most won't have the speed Hill does to open up the field for Kelce, JuJu etc. All while being in a powerhouse conference and division. They would need a lot of lucky breaks their way.

Hurts moves to RB.

So same old, same old

What a brilliant football mind.

It seems like he is trying to low key push the narrative that WR's don't want to play with Hurts.

I can see paying a first round pick but anything more than that is a waste.

a)  The Chiefs and Eagles are the only 2 teams in the NFL, and

b)  Every player in the NFL has a no-trade clause

I think a WR would be included in any trade. Jets may have to include Elijah Moore and the Dolphins may have to include Parker or Waddle.

not sure if serious.

Yea, I'm sure JuJu and Mecole Hardman can make up for losing Hill

The jets are a feeder team for the nfl 😂😂

so embarrassing

Yea. Would have to see what the fallout looks like.

When people say "there’s better options next year at QB”, who are they talking about, specifically?
