Want. If for nothing else, to solve our returner situation.

Agreed. I keep mocking either him or Bo Melton in the 6th to us primarily as returners who can hopefully contribute on O a little as well. As far as Hamilton goes, if he's there at 15/16...they have to take a risk. He's a potential defensive pillar.

Spadaro teased a massive "upgrade" to the boards. On April 1st it happened. They became very ugly. Werent even eagles colors anymore. Nothing worked. Many features were deleted. I think a ton of people were locked out and couldnt log in anymore. .phil created new boards for us to use. Lots of people went over there. Spadaro continued trying to hype the new setup as a massive upgrade. (The NFL wanted everyone using the same exact format, and despite always winning awards they didnt go to the eagles format. We had something similar to Washingtons's boards.) Eventually Dave actually got the board fixed. I dont remember how/what he did but we were allowed to switch to something much more similar that eventually grew in to what we are using today.

In the meantime there was a new section created similar to ask dave where you could ask questions to the stupid tech people who were "upgrading" our boards. And this Edwin guy was like the lead man on the project who Dave was hyping as some brilliant developer. Edwin has been a running joke ever since then. He is infamous.

I totally forgot about that.  What a DISASTER the board change was.  That goes back to when the Ask Dave section actually came with responses from Dave.

I’ve been on these boards since like 2006 idk how I don’t remember that

That's a good group.

Don't like it if they don't have the mandatory camps.  I think all of the offseason work as a team they can get is best for them.  Don't care if the Bengals were in the SB and they aren't doing it either.  Took the Eagles 8 weeks to "find their identity" last year.  Don't want them to do the same this year.

My only criticism is Flott is purely a nickel and I'm trending downward on Strong.

But trading Hurts and Reagor away is so much fun

No, it didn't.  Sirianni gave Hurts 7 weeks to demonstrate that he couldn't run a passing offense, so Sirianni adjusted and changed the identity.

Right.  Something they could have figured out if they had all of their OTA's and minicamps last year rather than using half the season.

They had it figured it out. It's not like they skipped all of TC

I know.  Not sure why it just bothers me that the Eagles took the light approach to on field work.

I have no idea. It went on for a while. Like probably at least a weak where the boards were super Fd up.

Not when you watch him on the field. I don't buy those times.

I understand where he may play faster but he doesn't seem like that fast of a player.  He's a big fluid athlete that is good at diagnosing plays and getting to the point of attack.  I bet a lot of teams see him as more of a LB given his frame.

just can't help myself

Did anyone see John McMullen's latest mock draft for the Eagles

16 - Trent Mcduffie, 16 - Travis Jones, 19 - Sam Howell, 51 - Christian Watson, 83 - Jalen Pitre

Absolutely horrendous, not to mention that Watson and Pitre will both be long gone by their 2nd and 3rd round picks.

A - for trading Hurts and Reagor, slight deduction for not drafting a safety or LB until day 3.  3 out of 10 Howies

We did it. We found the worst draft.

You do remember the Chiefs-Bills matchup in the playoffs last year, right?   Chiefs got the ball back with 14 or 15 seconds and went down the field for a game-tying FG to force OT... then went back down the field again to win the game on the opening possession.

The Super Bowl, he had no OL in front of him.  So, yes, any QB with absolutely no OL can be shut down by a top notch pass rush.  Not exactly an iron-clad argument, yet, here you are again trying to generalize based on very unique anecdotal evidence.  Extremely lazy.  Tell me, how frequently does a run-first type QB win in the playoffs?  Jackson has 1 win in 3 tries.  Hurts is 0 for 1.  QBs win from the pocket in the playoffs, not from running as a part of the offensive philosophy.  The evidence is overwhelming, and not just a single anecdotal example.

McNabb did pretty good from 2000 to 2003. 9 games, 327 rushing yards. He didn't become a "passer" until 2004.

Vick went 2-3.

My point on the playoffs is even elite passers can be shut down, Mahomes, Rodgers last year.

You win with an OFFENSE, not a QB. It's not how pretty it looks, it's how consistently effective your offense plays.

That's why I don't care about QB stats, I care about offense stats, how points do you score, how many yards do you gain, how many plays do you run.

That makes me want to wash my eyes out with cleat sweat.

I don't know if it means much in the grand scheme of things, but we are way later than everyone else by about a week with the 25th. Some teams start in as soon as 3 days.
