If someone can watch our games and not get completely frustrated with our QB, then it’s a waste of time to argue with them. Idk what really needs to be said. This is a big reason I have little faith in our front office. How can one witness this offense and not be aggravated by the QB play? I don’t understand it. As an Eagles fan, I just don’t see how you can Hurts play QB and enjoy it, like "yeah, he’s great!” He makes some flashy runs. But like, 3rd and 7, clean pocket, both WRs beat their guys.. he bails and runs for 3 yards. Punt. This happened over and over. What is enjoyable about that? I’m to s point where I don’t even care to watch. Yet some in here are just banging the table for this guy. I wish I could understand why.

Been having this argument with a few friends and I think I finally understand it. These are usually the all Philly guys who are in love with the underdog stories. They obsess with the guys who ARE Philly, and not the guys who would just make them better. It's an obsession with the overachiever, and the emotions behind the sport versus the understanding of it. They like using superlatives over statistics and when you bring up the statistics, it's not in spirit of the game. Aka these type still believe in run heavy offenses and shut down defenses because "That's Philly football baby!"

I'm still going back and forth on drafting a QB. Given that next year doesn't have any slam dunks as of yet (though some may certainly rise), I will be okay drafting Corral/Ridder if we don't have to trade up and if we can unload Hurts for good value. In an ideal world we somehow get an additional 2nd this year as well.

Dude, Hurts ceiling will make the Seahawks give us the 9th pick.  We will still have 3 first this year, Sauce at 9, Corral at 15, Lloyd at 19.

I wish "Philly Football” involved consistently accurate passes from a clean pocket.

Yeah, who needs deep ball accuracy? And "tight window throws”? There aren’t even windows on the field.

He has shown he can throw an excellent deep ball and throw it perfectly into tight windows. It‘s just inconsistent. But he got what it takes so the potential that he gets it done this year is there.

If he doesn‘t improve there he will be gone after this season though, not even I doubt that.

Subliminal Hurts messages?

That would be R stay in a clean pocked Uthrow to the left sometimesNwhy are you still reading this you should have thrown the ball 2 seconds ago

Really hasn't in a long long time. Eagles historically like mobility with cannon arms (mcnabb, Cunningham, Vick, Wentz). Hurts has the mobility part down....just struggles with everything else

Black guys and Fantasy football players.

Unsure if its racist but if you look on twitter, listen to the radio, etc etc, the only people who support Hurts are black dudes and guys who worry about putting up big stats.

I'm not touching the first part, but fantasy football players is pretty accurate. A QB who gets lots of yards running legit will win you a championship...

This and a lot of people just use hope as a strategy

I can throw a deep ball into tight windows too. It’s also inconsistent. That’s why I watch the games from my couch.

I think a lot of it is just thinking the game hasn't evolved. The top 10-12 QBs have legit HoF talent and are living up to that talent right now

Like having your next franchise QB fall to you in the draft?

If this is true, I'm guessing Mathieu, Landry and ?

I don’t buy that. A lot of white dudes believe in Hurts. And white females, like Skip Bayless.

I think a lot of us just want a QB who can QB.

Like the one that fell to you in the 2nd round?

image.png.ccafcc319464140bed22207a0d4a0835.pngYou can have one of these made for you custom. Rush your order to get it for the draft.

At least my hope doesn‘t cost us a premium pick this draft.
