Got to the playoffs because the NFL wanted more money and added a spot, and clearly looked like we had no business being there.  Especially the QB.

Yup. Like I’ve said many times, the state of Pennsylvania had no business being in the playoffs. I find it comical when people try to play it off as it was "his first playoff game, but really his performance was an extension of how he played against any decent team last year.

Had the Rams not lost to the 49ers in overtime week 18 then the Eagles would have been the 6th seed.  

But beyond that, with how easy the Eagles schedule is shaping up to be with their opponents that they face and how Dallas has lost some guys and I think Jerry honestly wants them to fall short so he has an excuse to fire Holmgren and bring in Sean Payton next year, I think the Eagles have a very solid chance of winning the NFC East next season.  Just need Howie to have another good draft and fill up some holes like that open outside CB spot that is vacant right now and then Hurts to take the step forward that I believe he will.

Hurts played well against a couple good defenses last season.

Well arguments could be made we wouldn't have been there if it wasn't deserved. All the turmoil and having a rookie play QB with no accuracy and first year HC and DC. 9-7 record wasn't that bad 👎

Who was the rookie QB?

I wasn't incredibly disappointed how last year ended up just based on the fact that after the first 6 games it was looking like we were going to have a 1 year HC and DC. The playcalling was complete ass.
