Is this pre-draft or a live pick by pick guess?

Pre draft, rules in the thread, but clift notes, list as many players as you think will be drafted in the first round, 1 wrong answer you are eliminated.  Whoever has the most wins.

You are weighing getting as many as possible without getting any wrong.

If I select 27 players, you select 24 players and one of mine is not drafted in the first round, you would win if you are perfect.

Another interesting draft game idea I saw on twitter.  Name as many first round picks as you can, you get 1 wrong you are eliminated, most picks is the winner.

I will set this up if there is interest

You get to say you are the best prognosticator, better than degenerate gambler bacarty.

Here is a semi draft related question:

What is the best 22 player starting lineup of active Alabama players? (OK to include this draft).

How does that lineup stack up against current NFL teams?

I'll have to miss the entire first round tomorrow and likely the whole draft over Friday and the weekend due to work.  I'm probably saving myself an enormous amount of aggravation.

But don't worry, I'll be available to complain about the picks Monday morning.

Really hope if they trade up it isn't for a WR.

Just filled our your game also.

Multi talented

did you complete my draft questionairre?

Travon Walker as the favorite to go #1 overall is stunning. Mario Williams and Jadeveon Clowney had college sack production. Hell, combine superstar Vernon Gholston had college sack production. Who was the last player to go #1 with such little production?

I find the reports that the Eagles are zeroing in on Jameson Williams to be interesting.

#1.  I generally don't like the idea of investing further in pass catchers until we find a pass thrower to play catch with them.  If QB's are hard to find and take longer to develop than WRs...then do the math.  I don't want to draft a would-be stud who is unhappy here before we even develop a QB.

#2.  I love the idea of pairing Devonta Smith with a true burner as opposed to a sluggish possession WR.  So I'm excited that their head is in the right place with respect to the WR corps.

#3.  It's a moot point because Williams won't be available.  But if/when he's not, I really hope they don't settle and just draft a different WR round 1.  If we draft a WR round 1 for the 3rd year in a row...we are DONE at WR for a long time.  We've got what we've got.  And if they get someone with limitations who ends up being OK and we are stuck with OK for years, that's going to be a problem.

If there's a "surprise" pick, I think it's Lewis Cine at 15. He fits every possible Eagles box.

Except positional value.

We were willing to give Marcus Williams top safety money. Howie paid both Jenkins and McLeod. There's more evidence Howie values S over CB.

The Athletic reporter mock draft today, this would be horrible IMO

Panthers trade pick No. 6 to the Eagles for picks No. 15 and 51.

6. Philadelphia Eagles (from CAR*): Travon Walker, Edge, Georgia

Bo Wulf: The Eagles part with the first of their two first-round picks and their second-round pick to move up for Walker, who is considered by some to be the player in the draft with the highest upside. It’s generally not good business to trade up significantly in the first round for a non-quarterback, but Howie Roseman entered draft season with three first-round picks and does not want to leave the draft without making a big splash. The Eagles would love to pair this with a trade down at No. 18 to recoup some Day 2 draft equity.

As for Walker, there’s little precedent for a player with his limited sack production turning into a pass-rush force in the NFL. But Roseman will be swayed by the "tools in his body,” which include impressive times in the three-cone drill and 10-yard split. With only Josh Sweat locked in long term at defensive end, Walker gives the Eagles a building block at a franchise-priority position. Moving up for less than full value makes this a reasonable gamble.

18. Philadelphia Eagles (from NO): Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

Zach Berman: The Eagles would gladly take this scenario. It would be surprising if Wilson fell to No. 18, but this exercise illustrates how it’s possible. In this case, the Eagles land Dane Brugler’s top-rated wide receiver and No. 10 overall player. This would be the third consecutive year the Eagles draft a wide receiver in the first round, but the lack of progress from 2020 first-rounder Jalen Reagor means this is still a need, and Wilson would represent outstanding value. Wilson, who is 5-11 and 187 pounds and ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash, finished with 70 catches for 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. He can play inside and outside, which is what the Eagles desire from their receivers, and seems to be a high-floor prospect who can grow with DeVonta Smith in Nick Sirianni’s offense. If the Eagles come out of Thursday with Travon Walker and Wilson, it would be a good night in Philadelphia.

Nah. We traded picks and cap space for Slay. We spent a 2 on a corner with an Achilles tear. There’s little doubt Howie values CB over S.

I'd much rather move up for Thibodeaux, Stingley or Gardner than Walker.

I don't see how pick 51 gets you to 6th overall

Trade up from 15 to get Sauce or Stingley  then Jameson at 18.  Id jizzle.

Bo Wulf brought up a good point for the first time in a while where he said he thinks the Eagles will move up because Howie after once having 3 first round picks and having the freedom to do whatever he wasn't isn't just going to settle for taking solid guys. He's going to want to come out of this draft with a blue chip player in the first round.

I do think trading up is highly likely for them.

Asante, Nnamdi, and Maxwell over the years as well.

Thinking Hamilton. Another WR for them would be a dumb allocation of resources.

Nah.

Hamilton may be the best prospect in the entire draft, but look at how much WRs are getting paid vs Safeties.
