That is what logic would say. Hopefully WR stuff is smokescreen. My most likely outcome is a trade up with a 3 for Jordan Davis.

I think they love him as well. But I think they would go Kayvon over him if available. Sauce too. But think he would be next in their little trade up grouping. He's one of the guys I covet as a trade up option.

Charles Robinson said he’s heard from folks that WR isn’t the priority most folks believe. He didn’t say it wasn’t a priority, but not the priority.

I think the general premise of not taking certain positions is dumb. WR may not be their ideal pick. But if a WR is the top guy on their board and they pass on him they’re morons. Like, if they think CB is a bigger need than WR but take McDuffie over Williams, then they have no concept on what the draft is about.

I don't think they're aiming for a WR in round one either. DL and DB.

Of course they had the guy on path to draft covering the eagles saying Howie wants to trade up but then mentioned with the second pick a name to remember is George. 🤦‍♂️

It makes sense because at least they have one young promising player at WR. They have none at CB and only one on the DL and he’s a free agent signing so technically not "young” as in a new homegrown player.

Yeah that's true if you stay at 15. But it also gives you incentive to trade up to get a player at a position more of a value provided of course the trade up price is reasonable which it should be this year I think

I never liked WR in a trade up unless it was like one or two spots and barely cost anything and was for Williams. Otherwise, WR to me only was the best option if it was at pick 15. If they’re looking to move up, which I think they’re trying to do, I don’t think it’ll be for a WR.

I think DL and corner are likely they positions they move up for to get from 15. I’d say safety but i don’t see us taking a safety in round 1. Nor linebacker. See that round 2-3. I think WR is more likely 2-3 round. I actually like Pierce from cincy in the third. Reminds me of jordy Nelson 

This may have been mentioned but several reporters have said many teams have removed Pickens from their board for character concerns. On one hand, that could benefit the Eagles for those here who want him in round 2. On the other hand, the Eagles could be one of those teams who removed him.

Thibodeaux, a CB in round 1 and Pickens in round 2 is the perfect Eagles scenario.

I definitely see WR as a BPA situation at 15. If their #1 WR is at 13 and the board doesn't fall favorably I'd be okay with them trading up. Otherwise I hope it's only for someone on defense.

Pierce isn't going to make it to the 3rd round.  WR values are much higher than they used to be.  

I would be fine with DL, CB and even (gasp) OL in the first.

yeah. Pierce went from unknown, to 2nd round, back down to 3rd-4th on those TDN sims and I have no idea what caused them to downgrade him. Theres no way he falls below the early 2nd. 6'3'' 213 running a 4.3 and dominating. And its not just the top speed, its insane how fast he is at his top speed, especially at his size. Hes a beast.

I really struggle with the idea of the eagles potentially liking Jameson Williams or Garrett Wilson when you can be getting a guy like Pierce in round 2.
