Not a fan of Dean’s height and injury history but a good gamble in the third just like Jordan Hicks.  Style of play reminds me of Sean Lee. Reckless with his own body.  If healthy, and a labrum tear, pec strain and meniscus tear don’t scare me.  His style of play does.  But that said, he will drag himself onto the field.  MIKE checked off.

Howie sure looks like he got four starters in this draft.  That said, F you Howie.  I take your unwillingness to draft a S as a personal affront.

Some thought teams were going to chance it and take these QBs early. Seems like they all pretty much decided not to

Wonder who drafts Strong

One of Saints, Dolphins, Giants, Eagles, Seahawks, Lions, Vikings, Colts, Commanders

No linebackers, safeties or outside corners rather than one. But let's stash a linebacker and center. Anther day 2 fail in a long line of day two failures

I’m curious what people said after day 2 last year…

Watch the play at 1:25.

Dean is good.  VERY good.

Seumalo needs to do a solid and give Dean #56.

He won’t need to after we trade Pryor

Probably referring to the secondary not being addressed if I had to guess

The word used was defense not being addressed, not secondary.

nooooo. there goes a RB target. Not that we have enough picks left for that luxury.

Howard again or a potential UDFA like Abram Smith.

Yeah. I had no interest in Dean round 1 because of his physical limitations, but round 3, can’t complain.

He said draft.  And you mentioned two White and Redick

The more I look at it overall…I think we got some foundational young piece for this team moving forward. Who would you say were young foundational pieces prior to the draft? I have Smith, Goedert, Mailata, Dickerson, Milton and Reddick. One could maybe argue Sweat. Now we have all those plus Davis, Brown, Jurgens, Dean. I know they haven’t addressed the secondary yet but there are still going to be some safeties in R5, plus there will be cutdowns as well…and they may make the smart move and put Vincent at S in TC. I think when it comes to CB, they are comfortable with CB2 being a comp between McPhearson and Gowan, the loser being CB4, and Scott backing up Maddox.

At least we have prospects in the secondary, it's something. My biggest worry is DE. We have Graham, Barnett and Sweat and I'm only expecting Sweat to be here after this season unless if Barnett miraculously turns it around.

I don’t think you can call them foundational pieces until they’re actually foundational pieces. They’re just prospects at this point.

Yup. Completely different animal.

No issues with HR swings in RD3.

There are so many RBs to pick. We can probably find a good contributor in round 5 or 7.

That was the blind squirrel year.

Maybe we can buy some picks off BAL… they have like 6 picks in the 4th (really).

Lol. I dipped into my 312 and Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale. I might not make much sense here in a bit.

Joe D is killing it.

Agreed.  While they may work for the future, which is TBD, we came out of the first two days with a rotational DT, a WR with a 100 million dollar contract with a big question mark at QB, a redshirt center and a possibly redshirt undersized LB with an injury history.

Not all players game immediate impact, but would have liked more impact than that next year.

Our next pick won't be until 154. I have to think Howie will find a way to get an extra pick or two tomorrow.

I could see Smith in the fifth or from a trade down.

Bwahahahahahha. ESP just loves a good narrative.

So many teams passing on QB. Man it’s going to be so pricey to trade up next year. If the teams even are willing to trade down. Just hope the Saints are awful and pick in the top 5.

It's going to suck if we squeak in the playoffs again and get eliminated. Definitely need to pray the Saints are a top 5 just in case

Speaking of Channing Tindall (who just went), that’s who I thought we initially picked when Doronbos announced Dean. I had completely forgotten about Dean.

LB run. Nother one coming here after Tindall

Do they need a LT and WR, I think so, but are options in the draft better than Dillard, probably not, or Reagor, probably so.
