The power of friendship (I do like both picks though)

It's a silly comment BUT I do think they have excellent synergy. Davis is a force multiplier for LBs by eating up so much attention. Lets a smaller guy like Dean do his job a lot easier.

Is they the drinks the Yellowstone dude is in the commercial?

Not sure. I make it in a highball glass. 4.5 oz of patron silver, 1.5 oz fresh lime juice and top with mineral water over ice. Gets you Fed up, no hangover, and not awful for the waistline.

At least we have prospects in the secondary, it's something. My biggest worry is DE. We have Graham, Barnett and Sweat and I'm only expecting Sweat to be here after this season unless if Barnett miraculously turns it around.

I agree on DE. Still some talent there if they can get into R4.

I don’t think you can call them foundational pieces until they’re actually foundational pieces. They’re just prospects at this point.

Fair enough. So Brown for sure. Even though he’s a prospect, with Davis having in my opinion one of the highest floors in the class, I’m more than comfortable calling him foundational.

Lol. I dipped into my 312 and Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale. I might not make much sense here in a bit.

Nice.

Agreed.  While they may work for the future, which is TBD, we came out of the first two days with a rotational DT, a WR with a 100 million dollar contract with a big question mark at QB, a redshirt center and a possibly redshirt undersized LB with an injury history.

Not all players game immediate impact, but would have liked more impact than that next year.

Well you’re a lot of fun. Try looking at it with a smidge of optimism.

he has no interest in optimism as long as Howie is GM. One of the top 2 or 3 most anti-Howie biased posters here.

This draft is absolutely incredible so far. Not just the players we picked. Theyre great. Not just the trade. AJ Brown is already proven top 10 WR in the league. But there is an extra 1st round pick next year as well.

Incredible job.

Danny Gray!

At some point, it would be nice to get immediate production from the draft.  AJ is the only one this year, and not really a draft pick.  Dickerson was good, DeVonta was OK, but not an explosion like Chase or JJ.

The last draft pick we made that created immediate excitement week 1 was Wentz.

9ers got a great WR pick here for when Deebo is gone.

I could see Smith in the fifth or from a trade down.

With the Niners drafting Davis-Pryce, and Mitchell winning the job last year…I wonder if Trey Sermon is quietly on the block.

I mean, you’re the polar opposite. You should try looking at Howie with a smidge of pessimism, lol.

I’m super excited to see Davis, and was really excited for Smith last year.

I have. Im not as extreme is mike.

Might not agree with all our picks but at least we didn't have the Patriots draft. What a trainwreck so far.

We literally got immediate production last year, and you have to put a negative spin on it. It’s weird.

She seems as excited to be there as DownUnderMike is about Howie.

She’s a female Ben Stein.

Went from a draft steal to an after thought. That’s why you avoid QB and RB from some bum school in Ohio.

The #1 overall pick didn't get sacks in college. You can nitpick every position and draft pick.

I love what the Eagles have done. AJ Brown should be a game changer and Jordan Davis is gonna be a beast once his pass move develops.

One complaint is Nakobe Dean. Too many too’s. Too Small Too Slow Too Weak. He was protected in that Georgia D and was allowed to roam. That won’t happen in the NFL offenses will come after him. Other then that pretty good off season so far.

The pick, yes, but it’s not like his play early on blew you away.  Wentz on the field week 1 as a rookie just gave you that feeling.

I think it’s just proof that RBs before day 3 typically aren’t worth the investment.

But that wouldnt get him the attention he is so desperate for…

Chase and Jefferson don't grow on trees lol

It makes no sense to say Smith was "OK” and then to perpetually rip Hurts every day in the Blog. Smith had a productive year in a run-first offense with a QB that many in here call a RB.

It’s trying to talk out of both sides of his mouth.
