Bengals OL is probably going to end their playoff run. I'm surprised they got this far.

Anyone got a mid-late round RB target? Not a big priority but with Howard/Scott as FAs and Sander's future up in the air a late round shot might be in the cards.

For 4th/5th Round considertion:

Pierce from Florida, sounds like a younger and quicker version of Howard and he can block in pass pro.

Robinson from Alabama.

Haskins from Michigan.

Brooks from Oklahoma.

We already got Scott for the change of pace/scat back so all these guys are 200lbs + that can run between the Ts.

Chiefs can essentially end it here with a TD.

As good as Allen or Burrow are, Mahomes is on a different level.

It's like Jordan and Malone/Barkley/Miller.

Mahomes is going to be the new Brady of the NFL.   Not sure he'll win 7 rings but he will be the guy to beat for the next 10-15 years, assuming he stays healthy.

I respectfully disagree.  What he said was objectively logical.  Your perspective makes sense if feelings trump logic.

That is particularly true since one of us know what happens to anyone once their spirt abandons this mortal plane.  For all we know Charles Darnay was correct when he said, "It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.”

Then it also objectively logical that afan lost his career, house, etc die to his own arrogance over any ageism, etc.

If anyone can replicate that kind of success, it's these Chiefs.

Davonte Price too. I forgot about him, although I think he’s a late-round guy.

No it wasn't logical, it was insensitive. And had he said it face to face to someone at a funeral home it just might not end up very well for him.

Abram Smith from Baylor is another big back that gets some love.

There are a ton of bigger committee backs available.

This game looks like it will be over before halftime.

Welp Cincinnati and Joe B are not up to the task.

NFL teams need to realize you CANNOT punt against KC no matter where you are.

Field position makes no difference to them. So might as well go for it on every 4th down.

KC have so much talent it’s scary. Can’t see anyone stopping them

Wonder if the Bengals would trade a 2nd for Dillard.  The moment they build a functional offensive line then they become actual top level contenders.

They have Jonah Williams at LT who they spent a very high pick on.  I think the rest of the line is where they struggle.  Not sure Dillard could play at RT or G.

Me, you, @austinfan and @Iggles_Phan have quite some time around here and a vast amount of conversations over the years.  I agree with the above here for sure, but the doubling down on his comment was why I said what I said.  I'm gonna leave the conversation at this and we will all go about things the way we have for years.

Yup.

Unless it's 4th and 10, go for it.

It can be both logical and insensitive. Not mutually exclusive

He was very right. But the timing was very wrong. After Iggles got upset, afan should have known not to double down in that moment.

Mahomes now with an MVP, SB MVP and likely a third straight appearance sure is unproven.

And, you are probably the 2nd person to ever get afan going. It was ghor. And now you.

I miss ghor.

Almost zero pressure on Mahomes all day. He's getting all day to throw.

Game Over

What makes the most sense for the WR room next season is to have a veteran in it.  It's lacked a leader for some time and is the sort of thing the team has lacked on that side of the ball in general in the skill positions.  The likes of Jamison Crowder could do wonders for Smith and Watkins, and if he stays, provide an adult for Reagor to observe what good habits look like.
