Yep, their first championship in soccer.  Indiana was going for their ninth.

Yeah, Indiana has been a long time excellent program going way back.

They have the second most titles after St. Louis who won all their titles in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

I’m an Akron fan, but they’ve fallen off since Caleb Porter left.

I think I watched St Louis play once in the 70s. The youth league coaches used to take us to watch college and the old pro league games.

What a shoot out for the Europa Finals.

De Gea hasn't saved a penalty in forever, it showed, and he missed his kick.

I hate shoot outs.  I once got up and left at the end of OT and refused to watch or accept the result (either way) of the CL final between ManU and Chelsea.  A few years later I stayed and gladly accepted the victory over Bayern M (hypocritically).  None the less, I hate them with a passion.  Take a player off every 5 mins and keep playing until someone scores.

He shouldn't have been in the shoot out. That's a misjudgement by Ole no doubt.

Off the field. On the field he's pretty hopeless.

He has been nicked up and Ole doesn't understand what a sub is . Still had 21 goals and 12 assists, 2nd on the team.

Hopefully Sancho will bring more balance to the team. Can get rid of Martial and move Greenwood to his natural spot behind Cavani at CF.

How ironic

So who are people in here pulling for tomorrow?

I think he's a good player, I don't think he's a top player and I don't think he ever will be. That's just my opinion of course.

Alaba officially signs with Madrid. Much needed considering Ramos and Varane’s future is in doubt. Will also make for nice cover at LB and CM.

You think he plays at CB?

I think he's going to be used where he's needed because of his versatility, but unless Ramos and Varane stick around that's going to be primarily at CB.

If Kante is able to go full speed Chelsea can keep it close though they will be dominated in possession and Citeh finally pulls away with a 2nd goal in the 75th minute and wins 2-0.  If Kante isn't himself it is a laugher and 5-1 City result.  I see very little chance of Chelsea winning unless it is 1-1 and City has burned 20 chances along the way to a pk loss.

7 minutes of stoppage???? 🙃🙃

Good match. Could have gone either way. Kante is a stud.

Didn't watch but

Bwahahahaha Pep Bwahahaha

Most overrated coach EVER.

Definitely. Closest thing to Makelele since the man himself.

That said, the EPL hype train is now calling him the best midfielder of the century, and I can only shake my head and laugh.

Good for Chelsea.

Yeah I didn't realise that both Ramos and Varane are out of contract. Do you think they keep either? Or maybe both?

If it said "defensive holding midfielder" then there is an argument to be made.  He's right there with Makelele and this year Kante has even started moving forward aggressively on the break as he did against Real in the semis.  In any case, if they didn't add the "defense" qualifier then yeah a laugher.  He's a one man train wrecker in the midfield though for sure.  Relentless, tireless, clever, even elegant.
