Just not a sci-fi guy at all.  Also, when there are so many of one franchise it just becomes too much.  Just like all of the superhero movies that are out now you can't even keep track of what's what as a casual movie goer.  If you love those franchises I'm sure it's great but I wouldn't even know where to start.

Irrelevant question.  The premise was an open competition, but those two were excluded. My point is, that they shouldn't be excluded.  They are almost certainly the best two, but to eliminate them from the competition would be in contrast to a true open competition.  Why not have them prove it?   Competition is good for a roster.

I'm interested to see what happens with all of the scouting team moves.  The last 2 drafts are promising but they haven't exactly lit the world on fire and to see that the Eagles are firing staff rather than not renewing contracts or other more mutual terminology just makes me wonder a bit.  Is this a good thing?  Should we be concerned at all?  I guess a lot depends on who they bring in or who moves up from within.  On top of the others who took positions with other teams, there seems to be an entire front office makeover with Howie being the lone holdover.
