Lots to look for today but I want to see Jurgens take possession of the middle, get out on downfield blocking, pick up stunts, etc.

High hopes for this guy in particular.

Gonna be raining, Run Game!

TE isnt thin. Not really sure safety is either.

CB is weird. All they do is draft, and sign nickel or nickel/S guys and pay no attention outside CBs. I cant see them trading for anyone there. too expensive and they just need a backup.

They need an RB most of all.

Having bodies doesn't mean they have depth.

-Stoll has proven nothing outside of being a good blocker.

-Calcaterra missed 3 weeks with a hamstring.

-Togiai is a 2nd year UDFA who had 4 catches as a rookie with the Colts.

-Jackson is still on PUP and while a huge body and good athlete, has proven nothing at TE.

The only TE on the roster outside of Goedert who has produced in the NFL is Dick Rod.

I've been clamoring for a legit TE2 for a year now.

Same with safety.

Epps is entering his first year starting and already looks the best.

-Harris and Tartt are a wash.  Pick your slow veteran poison.

-Wallace hasn't done a darn thing yet.  Reports are he's looking better, but that means he might make the team rather than being cut.

-Blankenship is a step up from Sean Considine.  I think he'll be in on a lot of tackles but none of them will have an impact.  Collect tackle stats because someone has to. The Alex Singleton of safeties.

McPhearson showing some chops. Don't discount.

-- Safety definitely
-- RB slightly less, but still definitely
--TE not so much IMO.  I like the mix, and have no problems with Stoll's mix of skills being skewed toward blocking.  I would even go so far as to say TE has more riches than can be kept on the 53-man roster
-- CB is a lot like TE.  I like the mix.  Just have to be patient as the young CBs situation sorts itself out.

Oh Snap. Game on NBC here, NFL Network just went to Dolphins etc....Local telecast I guess.

So Cowboys have some legit return specialist that had two TD returns this weekend.  Signed from that USFL league.

Howie did nothing to try to improve our return game.  He had a great offseason but that is one of the few areas he did not address at all.

The return game has been neutered. We’ll never see another Devin Hester impact player.

I know the VIP website has a new extension for watching the games.  Does anyone have that new url?

Was excited when they picked him up as an UDFA, then a week later he was cut.

I thought he'd be an ideal backup for Davis at Nose.

Never really got much info on him, like you say I'm guessing he was injured or something or maybe he came into camp way out of shape???

They gave him a pretty big signing bonus if I remember correctly so was surprised they cut him loose so quick

Wouldnt be surprised if he were back like you say on the PS at some point.

If not oh well🤷‍♂️

Torn hamstring running the football.  Since a NFI, they really weren’t going to keep him to rehab it.  Given how quickly they cut him loose, I suspect it is the 8-12 week heal with gradually getting up to strength type.  Watch for them working him out after the season starts, say around late September, October and signing him to the PS and working to get him an NFL body this season.

duh...

Im confident in the TE bodies as depth. And Im excited about the possibility to go with a youth movement at S and see how it plays out. Team has few weaknesses as is. And neither of those positions is going to break the team. They look like they should be fine.

RB is the glaring hole behind Sanders, who is guaranteed to miss time.

Covey with the opening KR.

Jurgens leading the way for Scott

Jurgens ALMOST created a TD. Scott just ran out of real estate.

Scott looking good so far

Yeah, box checked. Jurgens downfield obliterates the safety. Love his game...

run game dominating.

Scott looks nice, really good #2 I think

so thats what a quick hiting RPO is supposed to look like!

Havent seen that since Foles.

Minshew > Hurts

Good catch by Reagor

Hurts looks concerned. This offense is nice!

Scott with the patented spin move

lol at all the small backs in power running situations. Ended up getting it on 3rd effort.

Scott definitely had it on 3rd down, and they definitely got it again.

They got into the redzone pretty quickly. Curious why only running in the redzone

Westbrook would have skied over that pile up. Why is that a lost art?
