He has 76 QB hits. He's always on those lists for pass rush win rates. He is by far a more contributing and productive player than Reagor.  Reagor is a waste of space out there. Barnett is a quality backup DE.

As for getting into it with Dillard, Dillard could use some mental toughness so I don't have issue with that.

Dillard was recovering from a concussion, and beat Barnett in a drill. Barnett then took a swing at his head. He's objectively a giant POS.

His "QB Hits" doesn't offset his lack of sacks and penalties. He's trash

Looks just like Hurts.

He's a WR, not a RB.

I hope he didn't injure himself trying to keep up with Hill. Honestly I'm not sure why they even try in practice against him. No one is keeping up with Hill and it just gives the chance for an injury in practice

Did Hurts have a clean pocket? I keep hearing how if he sets his feet that he can make any throw

They could do a lot worse at backup DE. At only 26 years old they have him on a very good low risk high reward deal to serve as a backup.

I hate to do it, but in 1995, I looked like Nick Foles before Nick Foles looked like Nick Foles

Derek Barnett, the 14th overall pick in the draft.

If this is what we are saying about the 14th overall pick in the draft, he is a waste of space.

TJ Watt was drafted the same year as Barnett.  TJ Watt had 22 1/2 sacks last year, more than Barnett's 21 1/2 over 5 years.

TJ Watt has 72 career sacks in his 5 years in the league, Barnett has 76 QB hits.

@HazletonEagle did this cover it sufficiently, or would you like to add anything.

Where any player is taken in the Draft is sunk costs.  It really shouldn't be a factor in the current evaluation of the player's onfield performance.  However, with that said, that is a dispassionate approach that is antithetical to the passionate way that most fans express their fandom.  Afterall, fan is simply a short version of the word fanatic.

Looking at where a player was taken in the draft is also 20/20 hindsight.

Kinda lame and corny but I'd expect nothing less coming from the Saints.

extremely lame and corny.  Also, I think it's a bad look for a team to troll a rival about something they had no control over.  If the Patriots want to troll the Falcons that's great but the Saints.  Hey New Orleans, you were 7-9 that year.

Translation : You are only a fan if you never say anything negative about the team.

Maybe he becomes the player he was drafted to be over the next two years.  Even if he doesn't, maybe he he plays well and provides 6-7 sacks coming off the bench.

Thankyou.  In a game, there could be safety help, Slay may only have to cover underneath in a zone, the defensive line may have disrupted Tua and he had to look somewhere else and Hill gave up on the route.

Having your #1 CB match up against one of the fastest guys in the NFL in what is basically a 40 yard dash matchup is pointless, and here we are with the potential results.

And not only that, youre going 1 on 1 and everyone is watching.  So its not game-realistic and it becomes a big showdown where maybe hes not focused on the fundamentals, and thats when injuries happen.

I just cant understand the trend in moving away from more realistic game scenarios.  Its paranoid nfl coaching bullish

Just open up training camp again and let fans enjoy it and stop this nonsense

Was always taught to double and add 18 from Celsius.

Yeah, that does not work.

0 x 2 + 18 does not equal 32

Wrong translation.  Another translation is "don't look back, the game is being played in the present, not the past."  But all translations are wrong by definition.  There is no right translation

Nope 27 is 80F. I have no idea on the calculation, it seems to make no sense, as your 32 is our 0, but then at -40, they become the same (-40 C is -40 F)

No offense, but the American system for measurement and temp is whacky.

Dammit Reagor is gonna be here forever then

Yep.  That was a major adjustment when I moved to the US.

Two non serious teams with non serious QBs

Cant wait to piss away another year, but man social media will be lit!

The Eagles are now 0-2 in joint practices and repeating as the NFL joint practice champions is completely out of reach.  I would like to see some changes, both personnel and schematic, that could make us more competitive in joint practices next year.  We've got a full regular season to get ready for next year.

That is in Spokane where I currently live, the day my best friends son was born.

google says x 1.8 than add 32. Which seems complicated. Plus, my version is easy and close enough.

So new rule. Double it, add 18, round up.

so, your 17 would be my.... 55. Close?

1 x 1 + 18 = 20

1 degree Celsius is 33.8 Farenheit.

17 would be 62.6

You theory does not even remotely work.
