Listen up blog.  Enough.

These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters and ignoring mods.  (And no, he didn't ask the mods for anyone's personal info).

Anyone else want to get suspended?  Keep talking about this drama, keep talking about people you supposedly have on ignore, keep talking politics, keep pm'ing me with your childish whining about people on ignore.  Enough.

FFS it's Halloween, the Phils are in the WS and the Eagles are undefeated.  Drink a beer, smoke a joint, have fun.  Leave the drama for Moms on Facebook.

Oh, and:

I have both on ignore so 4for4 retaliates to those of us that can’t stand his bullying with confused or laughing responses.  Frankly his schtick has grown old.  Two weeks isn’t long enough. Make it permanent. He ran off justrelax (who deleted his profile) and laughed and lied about it. He is ruining this board.

You miss the landslide MVP vote in a year where 4 guys were pretty close?

You miss the Herb Akush crucifixion for speaking the truth about him?

You miss everyone blaming Gute and the WRs instead of Rodgers?

Who are the national media types who you think actually criticize him  (other than a few in the last couple weeks?)

Rodgers was grilled for his vaccine stance and a member of the AP flat out said he wasn’t voting him for MVP because of it. He’s not a media darling anymore.

It was Hub Arkush and the national media annihilated him for it. They were brutal.

He had to issue an apology for telling the truth.

Rodgers got 39 of 50 MVP votes. Kupp got 1. Burrow got none. Brady got 10.

Sounds like a guy who shouldn’t have a damn vote.

As a counterpoint, I just think a few get so intense on this Board.  Let each be who they are.

Sure, I'm high and all (not like tomorrow Game 3 high as I had to set aside the good stuff by hiding it from myself) but can't we all just get along?

I imagine JR is lurking and will come back once he realizes the hole left in his life by no longer posting.  But I am an optimist.

Heck, I keep thinking my ex-wives will appreciate me more now that I am gone. It has been 30 years for the cute little blonde one. I figure she is about ready for round two.  The redhead is still pissed though, I'm sure.  Anyone got a brunette out here in CA with lax moral values and terrible judgement?

What were we talking about?

The Kelces are probably better players as I don’t really rate Eli that highly, but to have brothers who each QBed their teams to multiple Super Bowl victories is pretty astonishing.

Yea, that’s where I landed on. I started thinking about it and was basically arguing with myself. Peyton is clearly the best with the Kelces in the middle and Eli dragging behind. But if you factor in accomplishments as well as positional value, I’m not sure there is a right answer.

He has quit a bunch of times and always comes back.

However, maybe he realized his weakness which is why he went the extra step of having the account deleted. So he cant.

But I guess he can always create a new one, easily. Hope he does.

He only left once before when they signed Vick. He reached out to some of us and told us he didn’t like what was being brought out in him.  Considering what he has experienced in life, that is soul wrenching.   He’s gone.  Several others are gone and more are considering it.  We discussed, which I consider an honor as he was one of the early bloggers that went into depth about the game.  Haven’t you noticed most of the long time Bloggers have had it with the trolls and the bullies.  Even Doug704 couldn’t do it but slowly folks trickled away.  Stalwarts here are gone now.  Folks like @TEW, @McMVP, @Parrot Head, @blindside @austinfan @Wentz_Era @ManuManu @Don Corleone rarely post.  Sad. Maybe just ban the trolls.  @downundermike I have never had a point.  Your buddy has been banned before on PE.com.

The mods said to stop talking about the drama and a few of you keep going on and on with it. Cut the crap. Move along.

Still think the Hunt trade makes sense.  They want a 4th but not sure they wouldn't take what they could get.  He is just wasting behind Chubb.  We need a Sanders insurance.  I'm not sure that is on the roster.

I’d take D’Ernest Johnson too. He’s a solid RB with no shot for meaningful snaps (barring a Hunt trade).

Frankly done with all the drama from the prima donnas who only care about one upping each other and sparky comments.  Just talk f'ing ball!  I have learned so much on these boards about football but also about the psychological behavior of tough guys behind a keyboard.

Feels good to see the Eagles firing on all cylinders this season. It feels special.

At the end of the day, it's our love and passion for this team and this game that brings us here.

It’s been almost 20 years since they had a start like this, so I’m definitely enjoying it. To see where this team was only 2 years ago, I don’t think anyone would have predicted a turnaround this fast. I’ve had my issues with Roseman, but him and his staff deserve a ton of credit for this turnaround. They lost their coach and supposed franchise quarterback and reloaded in both departments. Who knows what happens the rest of the way, but it’s not easy to do what they’re doing now. That can’t be taken for granted given where they were in 2020.

Well said!

It really is amazing to see just how fast the Eagles were able to build a contender. This team is great on both sides of the ball. They force the most turnovers and don't turn the ball over. They can dominate you offensively in a variety of ways. Every FA acquisition has been impactful.

Just wish there was enough $$ to keep the band together. Know there will be tough decisions to make next offseason. Hopefully it will be in the glow of a Super Bowl victory!

@LeanMeanGM

So, short week. So what? Travel, who cares? Who's afraid of Davis Mills? :angel

Eagles will feast on the 1-5-1 Texans, let em splash all the Red around they want.

This Eagles Team is focused like I can't remember when. No drama, no BS, just football. Love it!

The "One Game at at a Time" mantra is actually working with this group. Not just podium talk.

Threw the ball against PBurgh because we identified we could. 3 TDs through the air. Exploited and executed. Minkah? Who?

Houston has so many deficiencies I expect a varied Offense this week.  RO and RPO should all be effective, Miles, Gainwell and Scott should see a lot of touches. We all know Play Action comes behind that but I don't expect a big Passing stat. Not necessary. Let the O Line Eat, Blow em off the line of scrimmage...beat em with the rushing game, then kill em with the pass.

Our Defense should own this one. Riddick is becoming a real threat, 2 technique, over Center, lined up at DE a couple times for fun, A Gap Bull rush, stunts free him up while Cox et al occupy the rest of the O line, Gannon getting comfortable with Safety and Corner blitzes that get home, he has the Horses now to call his game. Encouraging. Mills better be wearing a Cup...

Fun to be an Eagles Fan right now. these dudes are bringing it!

I'm calling a Solid W with no real concerns here. No nail biter, we should own these guys.

Give me

Eagles                                                      38

The other sorry assed  Texas team   13

Bonus...Lane catches a TD pass...

JR isn’t lurking. He is too much a statesman and a gentleman, hence deleting his profile.  At his age, I would be shocked if he is back.

Bullying is bullying.  The whole targeting trolling and let’s attack pillars (whoever they identify as such) is a step to far.

Looking like a beautiful night for baseball tomorrow for those fortunate enough to go. CBP is going to be rocking.

Also, does anyone else have issues with the weather app on their iPhone? It’s been very slow and crashing my phone lately.

(Mostly because most don’t read his posts, sit back and think, and then respond.). He is excellent at not responding to jibes and such.  The I must be right posters hate that he doesn’t respond to him.  (Next year I celebrate my 40th anniversary.  I know about not being right.). But AFan responds to discourse.  That’s what a message board is.  Discourse.

Afan has gotten his chops busted for the 16 years I’ve been on here and the other board. I don’t agree with everything he posts, but he’s a smart guy and I give him credit for how he handles himself on here.

Drama, on a board full of drama queens who live to post in this thread. No way.

Well put.

We all must deal with change, that's Life, sometimes it's a process we wish had not occurred, or brought on by others where we have no input. Still we must decide if we wish to continue the process or move along.

We choose to be here, to talk Eagles and a bunch of other cool stuff.

I respect JR for his decision. Crap floating around your nose is no picnic, but he will be seriously missed.

I've been here since 2002, sometimes I'm not sure why. Paid to fund this new iteration of the Board. Then I think about all those guys you tagged. I remember.

If they don't get Hunt I would love Hines. Hines is what Gainwell should be/might become over time.

He is so slow with limited version.  Why?

Two things I know for certain…the Birds are gonna whoop some arse Thursday night, and some people in here really make anonymously posting on the EMB at a really weird level of importance in their lives.
