I bet they'd waive Siposs before they'd waive Covey. Siposs could clear waivers, sign to the practice squad, and then be activated for three straight games before eventually being re-signed to the 53-man roster. They could buy time playing that roster game. Covey can't be activated off the practice squad anymore, so he's 53-eligible only.

I’m into that draft. Would rather go CB/DT/DE on first 2 days, doesn’t matter the order. Just get future starters at those positions. I’d rather grab that RB from UCLA in round 3. 
 

I don’t really pay attention to TDN anymore. They fell off bad. Their mock draft machine is awful, especially when it comes to the trading system. I once offered a teams next 3 entire drafts, like 21 picks,  to move up from pick 12 to 3 and was denied. I once was doing an eagles 2021 mock and Trevor Lawrence fell all the way to like pick 15, this was like a month before the draft too. 
 

They hadn’t updated their big board/mock draft machine last year for the 2022 draft until December. So 6 months after the 2021 draft was done and we were nearly done with the 2021 CFB season, you could still only draft 2021 prospects like Lawrence and Zach Wilson who were already playing in the NFL. 
 

But really once Jordan Reid & Solak left is about when I stopped caring about their content. PFN has a good mock draft simulator, and Dane Brugler is worth an athletic subscription alone.

I always liked TDN's draft game the best because of their rankings, and the look and interface. I never paid for trading though so dont know Ill take your word for it on that.

Their mock draft game hasnt even worked since last draft season. Theyve been supposedly upgrading it. Forever now.

 

I agree with you a DT would have been better than an RB pick there. But I dont agree that Charbonnet will be there in round 3. I believe he could potentially be the RB1 in this draft. Unless he is really old like Chris Rodriguez.

All joking aside, a buddy of mine went to Croatia for 2 weeks this summer with the family and absolutely loved it. Great weather, great people, etc.  My bros in laws went a couple of months back and hated it.  But they are a weird couple, so it was probably good and he just got annoyed he couldn't have a 2nd wine on the flight home or something stupid like that.

I’d like to get a 3T to replace Fletch, but aside from Carter/Bresee early I haven’t found those type of guys later. DE seems to have a bit more depth, and it is more about what type of DE you want at the end of the 1st (stand up vs base). Agreed  on RB, should be targeting a guy in the 3rd - probably will need to maneuver to get the right one.

PFN does have the nicest simulator, but you’ll need to use the honor system until a consensus firms up on the prospect ratings.

I signed up for TDN last year to play the trades with the idea that I do it for a month before the draft.

a) not really worth it.

b) more importantly, right after the draft they changed the look of the website which buried the ‘turn off subscription’ button and actually disabled it. I had to cancel my credit card to end the automatic payments. I was happy to kick in $10 considering the free content provided, but I think the new management is treating it like a cash cow.

Fanspeak is suffering from the Walterfootball problem… too many clicks and pop ups, but I like the idea of multiple big boards to draft against.
