Well Suarez has been fine as a no. 3 for the Phillies so far this year. Problem is i think he’s beginning to run out of gas. When he gets to the 4-6 innings lately he tends to see higher exit velocity against him and he loses his control. 

Well the eagles… err Phillies had an early touchdown lead. But then the defense gave up 12 unanswered points and cardinals.. errr dbacks now have the lead 12-7.

Only the Phillies could blow two 7 run leads in one season. Add on face a pitcher with an 8+ era and not hit them the rest of the night.

I've had my doubts, but I actually have them unloading Reagor. He's slated to be buried on the depth chart for the duration of his rookie contract; keeping him makes zero sense. Allen stays for his STs potential.

TE (3): Goedert, Stoll, Calcaterra

OL (10): Mailata, Dickerson, Kelce, Seumalo, Johnson, Dillard, Opeta, Jurgens, Driscoll, Anderson

Edge (6): Graham, Sweat, Reddick, Barnett, Jackson, K. Johnson

I don't see 7 spots here like everyone else seems to. I think they can get P. Johnson through to the PS.

DT (5): Cox, Hargrave, Davis, Williams, Marlon T

I don't understand the love affair with Marlon T, but from every account he's making the team.

LB (5): Edwards, White, Dean, Taylor, Bradley

CB (6): Slay, Bradberry, Maddox, McPhearson, Jobe, Gowan

Gowan is probably the first guy cut to claim a player on waivers.

S (5): Epps, Harris, Scott, Blankenship, Chachere

This is a risk, but K'Von Wallace is a waste of space and deserves to be cut. I think they make a trade for a S at some point before week 1. Chachere is an ultra flexible backup who's one of their best STs players; borderline lock.

STs (3): Elliott, Siposs, Lovato

I expect to see some roster trickery, with Jobe making the initial 53 but then getting IR’d immediately.

My vote is Goedert. I think with the WR core we got, he’s going to be getting a lot of targets, especially in the redzone. Hurts will be checking down to him often. I’m expecting him to clean up the drops.

Hargrave played nose in Steelers 34 and Cox had one of his better seasons playing RE in Billy Davis 34.

Either way the LBs as you say should benefit from the DL this year.

Cox is on the down side now.  Frankly, he shouldn't have been brought back, especially at the number they signed him to.  I'd rather not have Cox and have signed Marcus Williams.  Oh well.  At least we had 2017.
