What you should remember when you talk about the creation of this place, and continuing what we had from the old board, I facilitated the conversation between @VaBeach_Eagle and Dave Spadaro that helped him get permission to duplicate the old board to a tee, and VA almost secured getting the entire database transferred to continue right were we left off, but there was legalities involved that prevented that from happening.

Wentz 'washer' is an immature term because of how it was derived.  It was derived as those who wash his testicles.  That's a middle school level insult, hence the immature connotation.

You seem emotionally invested when you use triple punctuation, which indicates a level of frustration and emotiveness in your response.  And it is absolutely in response to what is being discussed, because the discussion moved to how to have a disagreement with someone civilly and without lowering the bar to ad hominems and immature name calling.   (You aren't alone in this, but I've generally given up on most of the others that fall prey to that style of 'debate'.)

 

You weren't addressing Mike with the Wentz washer term?  I'm pretty sure you were, as it was his post that you quoted.   And I'm not stating that I know the intention of his post.  I know what his post SAID.  And his post did not defend Wentz.  Read it for yourself again if you disagree.  But, I thought I would try to help you raise the level of discourse so that it wouldn't devolve further.   I see that attempt failed, and you've moved the target on to me now.   It's a shame.  I'll know better for the future.

The Genesis of the conversation for me was downunders post about Wentz, contrary to your hopes and beliefs I wasnt following you around the blog waiting to crash your discussion with another poster, get over your self.

I don't like the white with black.  I wouldn't mind if they brought back the silver pants with white.  The Cardinals' uniforms might as well be the Falcons uniforms.

It's not pretentious to accurately use words to describe someone.  He's not talking down to you demeaning you based on the use of the words.  He's accurately describing your behavior.  Make the points you want to make about football. Comment on points others make and disagree about the content of their posts. Don't attack the poster.
