Yeah I think he revealed that news on the Phillies show. I also believe that is a big reason why they offered Sanchez the extension and not Ranger.

Yep. I think they had to make a decision on whether they were gonna go with Sanchez or they were gonna go over Ranger. I think Sanchez is being younger and the fact they believed he would hold up better cause he takes better care of himself and he has better stuff was the reason they chose him over ranger. There’s a lot of fans on Twitter that think Ranger‘s gonna be back. I think they made their decision last year. And they are OK with him walking away because they still have Andrew painter who they believe is going to be able to replace him and be better than him ultimately. And they can try to extend luzardo who has better stuff just not as good of being a pitcher

I dont hate him, just sick of this crap they have to deal with every year with him. Its like the same sheet with them running it back over and over again with the same damn team. Well its the same thing over and over again with ranger.

He would battle even better if the dope took care of himself.

Ranger pitched well all things considered. Unfortunately, the offense is doing what it always does the game after scoring 10+ runs- striking out 10 times.

This team is a bunch of choke artists with any kind of pressure. If DD was honest with himself, he would just let the season ride out with no trades, then retool next year with the prospects. Who knows, maybe they have the sacks to come through in clutch situations. This team time and time again has proven that the pressure is too great for them. Bunch of mental midgets.

Feels like every chance they have to come up big and bust the game open they fail to do it. they’ve probably had some but it’s so minuscule
