The more I think about it, you guys are probably right. This was always going to be a high scoring game due to pitching staff issues, but handling it differently probably could have shaved 2-3 runs off the board from what we are seeing right now.

What makes the hand decision worse is 2 out of the 3 batters he was going to see were right handers. The first two batters were. 4 of the 5 hitters he faced were righty. The one batter that you brought him into this game specifically for was soto and he went yard on him. They should’ve went with the bellatti for the first two batters and then brought in hand specifically for Soto if you wanted him to match up against him because he’s a lefty. Which frankly hand has been terrible in this series
