May 26, 20242 yr Great win, I won't be negative and say Turnbull is turning back into the pitcher he really is
May 26, 20242 yr That side shot of Harper’s HR was crazy. Hit off the end of the bat and went straight up. Looked like a pop up. Thank you Colorado

He's a starter. If Walker can be solid for us then you might be able to unload him and his contract at the deadline for someone that needs a 4th/5th starter and move turnbull back into the rotation.

Which contender would you be willing to trade with? What can you possibly get in return besides a bag of peanuts?

Thank you Colorado If that was in reference to the altitude and that leading to extra home runs, it’s a bit over exaggerated. At Coors Field they keep the game balls in a humidor. This results in the balls behaving similarly to games not a mile friggin high.

Tbh just getting out of that contract would be nice. He’s on the books for another 2 years. Clear some money so you can spend more next year before hitting different levels of the luxury tax. With painter and Abel coming on we really don’t need Walker. Cause you have wheeler, nola, ranger, Sanchez, walker, painter and Abel. i could see an AL team like Minnesota, Texas and Tampa. Tampa makes sense if they believe they can elevate his game like they did eflin last year.
May 26, 20242 yr This team has 2008, 1993 vibes. Gotta tip my hat to Dave Dombrowski. He had in mind to put together a team with swagger, and he did it. Guy is a stud GM.

Would prefer him to be in the AL also, wouldn’t want to see a trade with Atlanta or LA. If Painter and Abel can be here at least by next year then I can see this being Walker’s last season
May 26, 20242 yr Phillies have lost 5 games in the last 30 days......by a total of 6 runs......even on nights where they don't have it, they struggle, they don't come back.....they are still one hit away and that is just amazing.

They are 18-4 in May and 3 of those 4 losses came in extra innings. Meaning they've been ahead or tied after 9 innings 21 out of 22 games in May. That's a pretty nice stretch. When Turner was injured, I was worried that they'd muck around and fall 6 or 7 games back of the Braves, but they've played 0.800 ball while missing one of their most important offensive pieces. I think that any of us would have signed up for it if we were told they'd do that while Turner was out of the lineup.

It has been really encouraging to see. Last night was the type of game they need to win if they are going to continue rolling and get over 100 wins.
May 26, 20242 yr Doesn’t look like Ranger is comfortable out there. Laboring through at bats and also the ball staying up. More fly balls than grounders. actually pull him here. All his pitches are up and he has no control. At 3-0 still have a shot. If it goes to 5-0 this is probably a loss.
May 26, 20242 yr At this point just let Ranger get to 100 pitches and then pull him. The time to take him out was when it was 3-0 and he couldn’t hit the zone and leaving every pitch up in the zone also Bohm should’ve went home after touching 3rd. He still had a chance at a double play that way.
