Ruiz has actually looked really good so a chance neither walker or turnbull are on the playoff roster Also he’s never been a reliever and that transition during the season isn’t for everyone. Ranger went reliever to starter and Myers from starter to reliever. But it’s harder than you think to do in a couple months when he’s likely trained as a starter all offseason and his entire career.
