Tbh if they get Alonso i actually can make the case they have a better overall roster in terms of talent then those three.

He can hit lefty and righty. He has a lot of power. The issue is he’s not a very good fielder. He’s an upgraded fielder from Schwarber, but he’s practically where you’re going to be with Nick Castellanos. Actually, I think he probably is a little worse than Castellanos. So you better have a really good centerfielder. i believe has 3 years left of control. might ultimately become your DH when schwarber is gone
July 11, 20242 yr Rooker just goes up to the plate and tees off for the fences. Actually hits better than league average with two strikes. So far pitchers have been pitching around him and putting him on base. Doesn't give you anything defensively. We'd have him locked in for three years if we get him, so I figure Oakland asks for a haul.
